Hanam comic café with TV rooms and board games: Real Toon

While looking for things to do in Misa, Hanam, I came across Real Toon Comic Café (리얼툰만화카페), whose interior looked so impressive that I really wanted to visit :) It is also perfect for an indoor date, so I headed straight to Real Toon on a weekday afternoon ❤️

Getting there from Misa Station and parking

Location: Room 905, 9F, 45 Misagangbyeonjungang-ro 204beon-gil, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do 306 m from Misa Station Exit 3 🚖🚘 Parking available (up to 5 hours 30 minutes free at Seongsan Tower Parking Lot) Hours: Mon–Fri 11:00–23:00 Sat, Sun 10:00–23:00

Real Toon, the comic café in Misa, Hanam, is a four-minute walk from Misa Station Exit 3. They provide up to 5 hours 30 minutes of free parking at Seongsan Tower, so it is super convenient to drive here too :) Take the elevator from the parking lot to the ninth floor and Real Toon Comic Café is right there 😊😊

Once inside, take off your shoes first and change into the indoor slippers from the shoe lockers.

Pay-after-use system and drinks

When you hand over your shoe-locker key, let them know how long you will stay and which room you would like. Payment is made afterward, and we chose three hours :) Three hours plus one drink costs ₩9,900. For the included drink, you can choose an Americano, peach iced tea, soda, or bottled water; the standard drink is ₩3,500, and you can pick another drink by paying the difference.

We chose two iced Americanos. They give you a pager and a receipt with a QR code, so you can conveniently order food by QR code from your room.

For easy snacks, they also have chips, ice cream, JjooJjoo Bar popsicles, and Seolleim ice cream, just so you know :)

Choosing from TV rooms to Nintendo rooms

You can look around the rooms first and decide freely between a room with a TV, a room with Nintendo, or a room without a TV. We went for the TV room, haha.

When you enter a Real Toon room, check the rules first before settling in :)

• Please take only as many books as you plan to read, and return finished books to their proper places.
• No outside food! Real Toon has plenty of delicious food too.
• Order drinks and meals using the QR code you received; a KakaoTalk notification will be sent when they are ready.
• Please return empty cups and dishes to the counter.
• When using the restroom, change into the outdoor shoes provided beside the shoe lockers.
• When using OTT streaming services or Nintendo, please keep the volume low! Please be considerate of people reading.

Real Toon Comic Café says it is always cleaned with disinfectant and hinoki cypress-water cleanser, so it feels even more reassuring and comfortable to use. Also, you can receive fries or nachos through their receipt-review event, so keep that in mind ⭐️

Three hours filled with comics and board games

The comic-book area had such an adorably memorable interior,

And, as you would expect from a comic café, the selection of books was enormous, haha.

There was a wide range of board games and basic convenience items, and you can even print for free at Real Toon Comic Café :)

After taking a good look around the café, our pager went off and we picked up our iced Americanos. While sipping a refreshing cup of Americano,

I watched some of my beloved Crayon Shin-chan and a movie called Real Forest for the first time in ages, and wow, those three hours went by in a flash?! Haha.

When we paid on the way out, they also gave us Saekom Dalkom sweet-and-sour candy, so I made sure to take it with me 💕

Next time, an all-day pass

We only stayed for three hours because we had another appointment, but three hours went surprisingly fast, which was a shame ㅠㅠ Next time, I should get an all-day pass, right? Haha. There are so many things to do, and it is a great place to spend time while having snacks, so I think I will have to visit every time I am in Misa!!
