My partner's hair, my call this time

My partner's hair was due for a cut, and this time he said I could pick the style — so I booked right away and headed to this Sindang Station hair salon haha! It's Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch!

I actually visited once last year too haha. It's close to Sindang Station and also an easy trip from Sangwangsimni Station. It's fairly close to our place, so we hurried over before he could change his mind.

First floor of Centras Mall, finding your way in

Enter through the Tom N Toms coffee shop entrance on the 1st floor of Centras Mall Building i, walk straight ahead, and Oreudeubi is right there on the left. Not hard to find even for first-time visitors!

Once you're inside the mall, the Oreudeubi banner is right in front of you, and the interior overall had a clean, tidy vibe.

Waiting area and self-serve coffee

The waiting area isn't huge, but they have self-serve coffee and snacks set up, so it was nice to grab a quick drink and bite while waiting.

See-through perm plus down perm — how did the consultation go?

My partner usually keeps a slightly longer style for a guy's cut, but this time we decided to switch things up with a see-through perm. What I wanted was that Song Kang... Cha Eun-woo...? kind of vibe, basically 😌 haha.

During the consultation, the designer went through what styles he usually likes, his hair length and hair type one by one, and decided we'd do a down perm on the sides where the hair tends to flip up. Rather than piling on extra treatments, they pointed out only what was actually needed for his current hair condition, so it was easy to decide without feeling pressured haha.

Hmm, maybe we should've done the gray coverage dye before the perm... I guess we'll do that next week.

The same designer handles the whole process

And here's one of the reasons I came back to Oreudeubi! Instead of staff members stepping in and out throughout, the same designer personally handles everything from consultation to the treatment to the final shampoo. They did the same thing last year, and this is the part I especially liked!

I left my partner looking like a character from Atashinchi and went for a little walk 🐾 Salons can smell of chemicals, so I try not to keep Rocket inside too long, but this place had good ventilation, so it was fine to step out for short walks in between while waiting.

Came back and there's some auntie sitting there now haha.

The coolest part — massage-chair shampoo

And the thing I found coolest here! You can use the massage chair while getting your hair washed. He didn't want to get up... I wanted to shove him off and hop on myself.

Done! The result was definitely cleaner-looking, and it captured that see-through perm feel we'd talked about in the consultation, so we were really happy with it. Overall it doesn't puff up too much and falls naturally, which my partner liked too 🤍

Products used and membership

Oreudeubi uses L'Oréal, Milbon and Ayunche products for hair and scalp care too. The membership discounts and points system are also well set up, so if you're the type to settle on one salon and keep going back, it's worth checking out these perks!
