Sejong jokbal restaurant seating 80: Cheongmigwan salt trotter takeout
In short
Cheongmigwan Sejong Naseong Main Branch is a jokbal (pig trotter) and bossam restaurant on the Naseong-dong food street in Sejong. The signature dungulle (Solomon's seal) salt front trotter was ordered for takeout and eaten at home, and the insulated packaging kept it hot, with moist lean meat and chewy skin. Cheongmigwan takes groups from 7 up to 80 people, so it works for family gatherings as easily as for a takeout order.

Jokbal takeout in Sejong: what Cheongmigwan Sejong Naseong Main Branch serves
I picked up jokbal (pig trotter) takeout in Naseong-dong, Sejong. This time I went to Cheongmigwan Sejong Naseong Main Branch. It's in the Naseong-dong dining street, and the exterior is pretty large so it stood out right away.

The address is 152, 153, 154, 1F, Bldg 803, 23 Naseongbuk1-ro, Sejong (lot number: Naseong-dong 827, Sejong). Open daily 16:00–23:00, last order 22:00.

The area right in front of the restaurant had a clean vibe too

There's an underground parking lot right next to it, near the roundabout. Free parking if you use the restaurant, so it was convenient to drive there too.

That day especially, the front windows were wide open, so the inside and outside felt naturally connected. Sitting by the window gave an open-air feel almost like eating at an outdoor pojangmacha, so on a nice day the atmosphere would be even better.
At the entrance there were separate notices for reservations and waitlisting,

and a menu board out front, which was handy for checking the menu before going in.
How big is Cheongmigwan? Group seating for up to 80
A spacious, atmospheric restaurant
Walking in, the space was bigger than I expected, and with the wood-tone interior plus the lighting, it felt a little more upscale than a typical jokbal restaurant

There were baby chairs too

and a sink where you could wash your hands before eating

The tables were spaced comfortably apart, and there was group seating prepared as well.

Groups from a minimum of 7 up to a maximum of 80 people can be accommodated, and for 50 or more, venue rental is apparently possible depending on the time slot.
There was also a separate delivery/takeout pickup zone. It felt a bit more like a nice dining space than a typical jokbal restaurant.
How the dungulle salt front trotter arrives in its takeout packaging
This time I didn't eat at the restaurant — I took it home

When I got the takeout, it was properly insulated, so even after bringing it home it was still nice and warm.

What I ordered ✔️ Cheongmi Front Trotter. One of Cheongmigwan's signature dishes, dungulle (Solomon's seal) salt front trotter. They say it uses domestic front legs, boiled with dungulle salt that's roasted in-house.
Along with the trotter, the packaging was pretty generously filled with kimchi, radish, pickled vegetables, garlic, chili, sauce, wrap greens, and chives.
How much trotter do you get, front leg bone included?
A generous portion of front trotter too

The takeout container looked small at first, so I wondered how much would actually be in there

but once I laid it all out on a plate, there turned out to be quite a lot. From the glossy skin to the meat, it was evenly packed, and down at the bottom there was even a hefty piece of the front leg bone.

There was quite a bit of meat still attached around the bone too, so it was genuinely fun to gnaw on.
Taste and texture: the salt trotter eaten in lettuce wraps
The trotter was moist overall

The meat wasn't dry — it was soft, and the skin part was chewy, which paired well together. Picking up a thick piece of meat and skin together made the texture even better.
Good as a wrap, too
Trotter on a perilla leaf, then chives, radish kimchi, garlic, chili, and ssamjang (wrap sauce) on top, all in one bite. The trotter was fine on its own, but pairing it with chives and kimchi cut through the richness.

There were several kinds of side dishes packed along with it, so it didn't get boring even to the end. The chive salad especially paired well with the trotter
Is Cheongmigwan worth it for takeout and group meals?
If you're looking for jokbal in Naseong-dong, Sejong, Cheongmigwan Sejong Naseong Main Branch is worth a visit. The restaurant is spacious and clean, so it seems good for family gatherings or visiting with several people. I tried it as takeout, and thanks to the good insulated packaging I could eat it warm even at home, with a generous portion of trotter. Above all, the meat was moist and soft, and the skin was chewy, so the texture was great. It seems like a solid choice too for anyone looking for jokbal takeout in Naseong-dong, Sejong.
