Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat charcoal-grilled dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Huijeon Building near Guro Digital Complex Station. I found it while trying to figure out a group dinner spot around the Guro area, and honestly, this place is a hidden gem.

I actually came here for a family meal at first, but the whole time I was eating I kept thinking, "this would be amazing for a work dinner" haha. I'd heard unlimited drinks were ₩9,900 per person and was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be true once I got there. Beer and soju, unlimited, at that price — this has to be one of the best group-dinner spots in Guro. Here's my honest review!

First impressions and prices at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi
The restaurant is about 330 square meters with 150 seats, so it's really made for group gatherings or work dinners^^ Spacious and clean inside!

The free pass for 2 hours of charcoal dakgalbi and charcoal-grilled meats is ₩20,500 per person. Domestic chicken dakgalbi plus pork ribs and pork belly all included at that price is genuinely absurd value. On top of that, you can add unlimited drinks for ₩9,900 per person, so for a group dinner you're looking at low ₩30,000s per person for meat and alcohol together. At this price and with this lineup, is there a better group-dinner spot in Guro?
For anyone who doesn't want the free pass, à la carte single-portion orders are also available.

What the charcoal dakgalbi menu tastes like
Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi has more menu variety than you'd expect. Salt dakgalbi, soy dakgalbi, gochujang dakgalbi, pork belly, pork ribs, and even chicken neck!

I tried everything, and I get why salt dakgalbi is the signature dish. No gamey smell, clean flavor, the meat's own taste really comes through so you don't get tired of it and keep eating. The chicken neck had a great chewy texture too, I kept reaching for it.

We grilled pork belly alongside it too~

Soy dakgalbi is sweet and salty and goes great with rice, and gochujang dakgalbi is perfect for anyone who likes spicy food.

Each one has its own charm, so rather than picking a best, they're all good depending on your taste. There's that charcoal-grilled smell too, which really gets your appetite going haha.

The self-serve bar: fried chicken, dakgomtang and more
The self-serve bar at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi isn't just meat. Let me show you the big reveal haha.

There's fried chicken and soy chicken, plus dakgomtang (chicken soup with rice) and rice, so after grilling meat you can fill up with something hearty to finish.

Unlimited drinks are love~~!!

I also liked that you can freely grab side dishes, vegetables, and wrap ingredients from the self-serve bar. No need to ask for more, just go grab what you need when you need it — very convenient. The spread was pretty generous, so the table felt full even from the self-serve bar alone.

There was also instant tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes), but we were too full to even touch it haha. Definitely have to try it next time.

The little one ate the soy chicken well, and we enjoyed it too^^

Refreshed with cold soda~! haha
