Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi, a meat buffet in Guro

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat meat spot a 5-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station Exit 2. For ₩20,000 per person you get unlimited servings of six kinds of meat, and for just ₩10,000 more, unlimited drinks too — a proper Guro all-you-can-eat meat restaurant.

Today I want to recommend a really great value spot in Guro! If you're looking for a good work-dinner restaurant in Guro, pay attention +.+ The moment we got there, my husband said this would be perfect for filling up at the first round of a company dinner haha. So let's go collect some good restaurants together.

Location, hours, and parking

  • 📍 Address: 29 Digital-ro 32na-gil, Guro-gu, Seoul, South Korea, 3rd floor
  • 🚊 Transit: 5-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station Exit 2
  • ⏰ Hours: Daily 11:30–01:00
  • ❎ Closed: Open year-round
  • 🅿️ Parking: Available (1st floor of the Sokcho Squid building)

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is close to Guro Digital Complex Station, so I'd recommend taking public transit! Parking is possible, but it's only free before 5pm — after that it's ₩3,000 an hour, so I'd suggest a nearby public street parking lot instead. And since the drinks are unlimited too, just take public transit!!

Menu, prices, and the 2-hour pass

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi all-you-can-eat pass menu board

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi offers a 2-hour all-you-can-eat pass for ₩20,500 per person, and there are also 2–4 person sets for lighter eaters, so you can choose based on your appetite haha.

As for us... being big eaters, we obviously went straight for the 2-hour pass without a second thought!!! Plus ₩9,900 for the unlimited soju and draft beer pass.

The meat zone: plain and seasoned, six kinds

Self-serve meat display case
Tray of raw pork belly at the self-bar
Plain meat section including chicken thigh
Seasoned dakgalbi and pork rib section

First, the most important part — the meat zone!!! The meat comes in plain and seasoned: plain — pork belly, chicken thigh, salt-grilled dakgalbi (grilled chicken) / seasoned — pork ribs, gochujang dakgalbi, soy sauce dakgalbi. Six kinds total!

Self-serve vegetable and mushroom side dish station
Self-bar with various sauces and condiments
Self-bar with DIY tteokbokki station

The basic side dish lineup is also pretty impressive haha. Vegetables, mushrooms and onions are all unlimited self-serve, and there are various sauces plus a DIY tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) station! But since we wanted to eat a lot of meat, we skipped the tteokbokki~~

Soju by the bottle, draft beer self-serve

Unlimited soju bottles at the drink station
Self-serve draft beer machine
Fridge of unlimited drinks

For drinks, you just grab soju bottles yourself, and for beer there's a self-serve draft beer machine right next to it!! Drinks are unlimited too, so no worries about running out haha.

A self-poured glass of draft beer

Ah~ nothing beats draft beer in summer (it's still summer... haha).

Starting with pork belly and chicken thigh

Plate of pork belly and chicken thigh, plain meat

We started with the basic vegetables and plain meat first! We carefully picked up pork belly and salt-grilled chicken thigh, a good mix of everything.

It's not like the meat quality drops just because it's all-you-can-eat — it was seriously amazing!! The moment we tried the pork belly together, we both went 'whoa... this is the real deal.' I usually like meat with a bit of chew, and the chicken thigh was a total standout — I devoured it like a storm!!!

The salt-grilled dakgalbi was completely light and savory, totally my style~~ This kind of grilled dakgalbi costs almost ₩20,000 per serving these days when you eat it outside... We kept saying this price is unbelievable while happily eating away haha.

Lettuce wrap topped with radish pickle and pickled onion

We could keep grabbing vegetables too, which was total heaven for me as a lettuce-wrap lover!!! I piled radish pickle and pickled onion on lettuce and even threw in two pieces of meat at a time haha.

Timing the chicken refill at the self-bar

Oh, and the thing I'd recommend at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is the chicken!! The chicken at these all-you-can-eat places is usually pretty mediocre, but here it genuinely tasted like it was from an actual chicken restaurant haha. It had that classic old-school fried chicken shop taste!!! If you keep an eye out and go right when it's refilled, you can snag drumsticks and wings like I did.

Seasoned meats and free tortillas

By the time we were getting tired of the plain meat, we brought over the seasoned meats haha. Having both plain and seasoned meat means you never get bored of it — so good!!

Seasoned meat on the grill

We were devouring things so fast around this point that there aren't many photos... The seasoned meat overall was also above average! But I'm more of a plain-meat person, so I liked the plain meat better.

Free tortillas and sauce served as a bonus

And wrapping the meat in the free tortillas and sauce they gave us was another standout — long live the owner~~~

Exterior, interior, and how to find it

Exterior of the Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi building

Walk a little from Guro Digital Complex Station Exit 2 toward the alley with the old-style fried chicken shop, and Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi's building comes right into view — really easy to find. Turns out it used to be Sagyejinmi Charcoal Dakgalbi before it just changed its name!!

The inside is really spacious too, so even though it was crowded on the weekend, it never felt overly packed — a genuinely great spot for a weekday work dinner.

One-line verdict: ₩60,000 for two

When the two of us eat out at a meat restaurant, spending over ₩100,000 is basically a given these days, but here we ate until we were completely stuffed and drank on top of that for just ₩60,000. Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is seriously god-tier value!!! We already decided we're definitely coming back haha.
