Guro after-work meat buffet with a couple event gift: Bak Jeongmi
In short
Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat meat restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Huijeon Building on Kkalkkal Street, two minutes from Guro Digital Complex Station in Seoul. A married couple stopped in after work, paid ₩20,500 for the meat buffet plus ₩9,900 per person for unlimited drinks, and ate four rounds — thin-sliced pork belly, three kinds of dakgalbi (grilled marinated chicken), pork belly and pork galbi — before finishing with self-serve fried rice. The pork galbi marinade was the highlight, and the couple event coupon added a three-tier lunchbox gift set, making Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi a 100 out of 100.

Today I heard there was a crazy value all-you-can-eat restaurant on Kkalkkal Street near Guro Digital Complex Station, with 7 kinds of meat and even unlimited drinks, so my wife and I headed straight there after work.
Where is Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi, and is there parking near Guro Digital Complex Station?
- 🚩Location: 2-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station

It's on the 3rd floor of the main building on Kkalkkal Street near Guro Digital Complex Station, so it wasn't hard to find.
Even though it was a weekday, there were tons of customers. Still, since they use the whole floor, the seats were spaced well apart and it felt comfortable to eat.

There was a separate spacious area on one side of the restaurant — true to its reputation as a go-to spot for Guro office dinners, it could easily seat large groups.
Disposable aprons were also provided.
There was even an indoor smoking room, though that's got nothing to do with me since I'm six months smoke-free haha.

How much is the buffet? ₩20,500 for 7 meats, plus ₩9,900 for unlimited drinks
Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi has à la carte items too, but obviously you go for the buffet, right? Haha. The buffet is such good value that the price difference from ordering à la carte isn't even that big. ₩20,500 for 7 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of chicken, plus free drinks and fried rice... And if you add ₩9,900 per person, draft beer and soju are unlimited too haha. We hadn't had drinks in a while, so we added the unlimited drink option.

They're also running various events — a review event, a lucky draw event, and if you search Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi on Naver and download the coupon, you can join a special event too haha. We downloaded the couple event coupon and took part — I'll write about what it was later in this post.

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi's self-serve bar: instant tteokbokki ingredients and a burner
To keep prices this reasonable, everything at this Guro all-you-can-eat spot is self-service. Once we sat down, we headed to the self-serve bar to set up the side dishes first.

Interestingly, the self-serve bar had ingredients and a burner for making your own instant tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). My wife loves tteokbokki, so we grabbed some and made it ourselves.
The first meat we tried was thin-sliced pork belly. Since it's thin, it cooks quickly, making it a great starter.
The rest of the meats included various types of dakgalbi, pork belly, and pork galbi (grilled marinated pork ribs). Seven kinds of meat, all-you-can-eat, for ₩20,000... land prices around Guro Digital Complex's restaurant street must be high, so this is insanely good value haha. The owner's motto is apparently to prepare every meal carefully so customers feel their hard-earned money was well spent, and honestly the food quality really showed it.

Fried chicken and soy sauce chicken were also unlimited.
Bean sprouts, mushrooms, and side-dish vegetables were unlimited too. I love mushrooms, so I loaded up on those and the bean sprouts haha.
Soft drinks were unlimited too!!! Can't have grilled meat without something fizzy haha. But since we had the unlimited drink option, we went with draft beer instead of cola today!!!!

Both draft beer and soju were unlimited, but we drank a lot more draft beer than soju. If you're a serious drinker, going for soju could be a great option too haha.

I actually prefer this kind of oiled grill plate over charcoal ones haha. Pork belly tastes best cooked on an oiled grill plate!!

We simply brought over what we needed for grilling meat first and set it up. My wife went back to the self-serve bar to make the instant tteokbokki.
A whole drumstick in the unlimited chicken? Round one, thin-sliced pork belly
While my wife brought the tteokbokki, I tried the chicken first.
Wait, there's a drumstick in the all-you-can-eat chicken? Haha. I saw it at the self-serve bar and grabbed it fast. Chicken really is best as the drumstick meat... it's just so good haha. The fried chicken was super crispy, and the soy sauce chicken was so tasty it was hard to believe it was buffet quality haha.
With the chicken as a starter, it was time to get into the real grilling. First up, the thin-sliced pork belly since it cooks fast haha.

The color on that thin-sliced pork belly is a work of art.
Dip it lightly in the onion sauce and wrap it with onion, and it just melts in your mouth haha.

Now that we had a snack going, time for unlimited draft beer. You've got to drink your fill when your wife gives you permission like this... haha. She specially allowed me to drink as much as I wanted since it was unlimited haha. The draft beer was ice cold and, maybe because it had been a while, it was ridiculously delicious. T_T

My wife's homemade instant tteokbokki, made with care. While the tteokbokki cooked I ate pork belly, then went back to the tteokbokki, then back to pork belly haha. Is this heaven...? Haha.
Three dakgalbi flavors compared: salt-grilled, soy sauce and gochujang
Since Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi has dakgalbi right in its name, dakgalbi is naturally the signature dish here. After finishing the thin-sliced pork belly, we grabbed all three versions — salt-grilled, soy sauce marinated, and gochujang (red chili paste) marinated.

To avoid mixing in the gochujang, we grilled the salt-grilled and soy sauce versions first.
We wrapped the salt-grilled version with pickled radish and ate the soy sauce version plain — both were so good haha. The salt-grilled one was seasoned just right and the chicken meat was tender with a great texture, while the soy sauce version had an incredibly tasty marinade haha.
Having eaten a fair amount of meat, we grilled some mushrooms and bean sprouts too. One reason I love the oiled grill plate is that you can grill mushrooms on it haha. Enoki mushrooms are absolutely delicious!!
We grilled the gochujang version too. It's tasty, but it was hard to tell whether it was cooked through or not haha.
The three-tier lunchbox gift set from the couple event coupon
This is the three-tier lunchbox gift box we got from the couple event coupon haha.
The first tier had tortillas, the second had cheese sauce.
And the last, third tier had a ring haha. Thanks to that, I ended up gifting my wife a ring. It's amazing that such a fun event is free haha. Make sure to grab the coupon and take part!!

Grilling a tortilla, dipping the chicken in cheese, and eating it — absolutely delicious... the cheese sauce is really the key move haha.
Round three is pork belly, round four is pork galbi
Now, on to round three: pork belly in earnest.

Dakgalbi has its own flavor and pork belly has its own flavor haha. Since pork belly is a fattier food, I'd recommend eating the dakgalbi first haha.
We wrapped the pork belly with green onion shreds and also with the leftover tortillas haha. Pork belly is always right...

Last but not least, round four: pork galbi haha. Our stomachs were already stuffed from eating so much, but since the dakgalbi and pork belly had both been so good, there was no way we could skip the pork galbi... haha.
And yeah, pork galbi is right too... haha. The dakgalbi marinade was amazing, but the pork galbi marinade is truly on another level. It would be an incredible side dish for rice!!
So we grabbed some rice too haha. This is exactly how you keep gaining weight...

The pork galbi was so good we grabbed just a little more for real this time haha. If you visit Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi in Guro Digital Complex, you absolutely have to try the pork galbi!!! Highly recommend!!
Finishing the meal with self-serve fried rice
For the final palate cleanser: self-serve fried rice. Mix various ingredients in a metal pot, put it on the grill plate, and fry it yourself — the perfect ending!!

Since I gave her a ring, my wife repaid me with fried rice haha. Even the fried rice was completely perfect haha. I had no idea there was an all-you-can-eat restaurant of this quality on Kkalkkal Street near Guro Digital Complex Station haha. I commute through Guro Digital Complex regularly, and if I'd known about this place sooner, I would have come here several times by now haha.
Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi, the all-you-can-eat spot for drinks in Guro — I recommend it so, so, so, so much!! You absolutely have to visit!! Giving it 100 out of 100 haha.
