While hunting for a good meat restaurant in Seonbu-dong with my boyfriend Jjanggu, we found Buheung Charcoal Grilled Galbi Main Branch — here's our story of tender charcoal galbi and chewy spicy chicken feet!
Buheung Charcoal Grilled Galbi: location, hours and parking in Seonbu-dong
Buheung Charcoal Grilled Galbi Main Branch is on the 1st floor at 27 Seonbugwangjang-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. Come out of Seonbu Station Exit 1, cross at the crosswalk, and you're right there.

It's located in the Spa World sauna building. Turns out Buheung Charcoal Galbi has several branches, and this one here in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, is the main branch!
The moment we walked in it had that special feeling haha — I just knew this place was going to be good.
The seating inside looked good for two people, but also fine for a company dinner.
You order through a kiosk.
They brought the charcoal to the table first — and it was hot (duh) lol.
Hand-marinated galbi at 18,000 won a serving, gone in minutes
[Hand-marinated galbi, ₩18,000 per serving] We ordered two servings. Jjanggu loves charcoal galbi, and it was grilled so tender and delicious that it vanished in no time. Cooking it over charcoal seemed to take away any gamey taste, so it was really good.
Grill it up nicely for us, Choi Jjanggu.
The basic side dishes were all pretty good across the board.
This pickled green onion side especially — that tangy edge was just right, paired perfectly with the well-grilled galbi.
When things get a bit greasy, a bite of baek-kimchi (white kimchi) sets you right 👍🏻
The pairing of mu-saengchae (spicy radish salad) with fresh cabbage leaves for wraps was great too~! The cabbage was so fresh and sweet I ate three of them 🤣
For extra sides, just use the self-serve bar.

Charcoal tulip chicken feet, 15,000 won: how spicy are they?
The charcoal tulip chicken feet at Buheung Charcoal Grilled Galbi Main Branch cost ₩15,000. It's a charcoal galbi restaurant, but I thought the chicken feet would be a nice kicker.
I really love chicken feet and spicy food, so honestly I enjoyed them even more than the galbi lol. They turned out spicier than expected, so Jjanggu struggled a bit, but we powered through with the extra egg custard we ordered and enjoyed it.
This is one serving! Grill the chicken feet nicely too, Choi Jjanggu.
They told us to just lightly sear the outside, so we grilled it only until it got just a little chewy~
The egg custard that saved Jjanggu!! Fluffy and warm, it completely tamed the spiciness.

Why I'd recommend this Ansan charcoal BBQ
The charcoal galbi was tender and delicious, and the chicken feet made a great side dish. It's located right across from Seonbu Station and Seonbu Plaza, so it seems like a great spot to spend some time and then head off for a family dinner.
What fell a little short at Buheung
The chicken feet were spicier than I expected. Not sure if you can adjust the spice level, but for people who love spicy food like me, this seems perfect — feed the kid or the spouse some galbi, and when you're craving spicy, have some chicken feet with a drink too. Jjanggu said the egg custard saved him, but honestly, the spiciness just made the day even more delicious for me lol.
Right in front of Seonbu Plaza, great for spending time and enjoying a family meal — a charcoal galbi spot in Seonbu-dong, Ansan I'd recommend!! I recommend Buheung Charcoal Grilled Galbi Main Branch!
