How to walk from Sinjung-dong Station, and what the restaurant looks like
Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon is located near Sinjung-dong Station, so it's easy to reach by public transit too.

True to a BBQ restaurant, the place was packed with people, and above all it was so spacious that you could eat comfortably!

When you go out for meat, the spacing between neighboring tables actually matters a lot — and here the tables are set really far apart. It felt less chaotic and more like a relaxed spot to sit and enjoy meat, which I really liked!

Cham Dwaejitgan Sinjung-dong menu and prices
Here's the menu at Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon. I was surprised the prices were pretty reasonable haha. Very fair prices for the quality of the meat.
What we ordered: pork belly for two plus review-event fried rice
We ordered like this: pork belly and fried rice (from the review event).

There's a tablet kiosk at each table, so you can order comfortably right from your seat.

They brought us scallion salad and cabbage salad as the basic side dishes.

There's such a wide variety of sauces to pair with the meat. The wasabi mushrooms and the spicy sauce are this place's signature touches~

Before the meat comes out, they grill kimchi, bean sprouts, minari (water celery), potato and mushrooms in the gently heated space beneath the grill. Unlike other BBQ restaurants, minari and potato show up here! At first I wondered what kind of combo this would be, but I was surprised it tasted amazing from the very first bite haha.

How much pork belly is two servings, and how thick is it?
We ordered two servings of pork belly, and out came two big chunks. It might look like a small portion at first glance, but the pieces were so thick and large that we filled up surprisingly fast!

The staff grill all the meat for you, so all you have to do is eat comfortably — that's another perk of Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon!

They cut it neatly and moved it over to the gently heated part of the grill! The staff were so kind that we could eat comfortably the whole time without any awkwardness.

The self-service bar and the sliced potato wraps
If you run short on side dishes, it was so convenient to just grab more from the self-service bar without feeling self-conscious. Various sauces, side items, even wrap vegetables — we happily helped ourselves haha.

This right here is Cham Dwaejitgan Sinjung-dong's signature side item — potato! They gave us about 5-6 slices.

We tried putting meat on top of the potato along with scallion strips and minari — I wanted to order more potato right away!! I never expected potato and meat to work together like this haha.

We also wrapped plenty in perilla leaves and lettuce~

We ordered a beer too, and it came with milk thistle for liver health. Seems like a special touch just for the Sinjung-dong branch~

The one serving of fried rice from the Naver review event
After eating meat, fried rice is a must, right?? Right now, if you participate in the Naver receipt review event, they'll give you either a serving of fried rice or a canned drink!

I joined the review event, and they brought out this delicious-looking serving of fried rice and stir-fried it for us with care.
Sswaeket sswaeket (the sound of stir-frying)

I had them press it down slightly like this. It's a bit salty, so wrapped together with the lettuce it's genuinely delicious haha.

After eating well and going to pay, I noticed a lot of thoughtful little touches that showed the owner's care and sense of style. This is a BBQ restaurant you could also come to for a date with your partner haha.
