Gamjatang restaurant by Incheon Nonhyeon Station: medium feeds 3
In short
Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang Incheon Nonhyeon Branch is a gamjatang (pork bone stew) and hangover soup restaurant across from the Daiso at Exit 3 of Incheon Nonhyeon Station in Namdong-gu, Incheon. Ordered the morning after a night of drinking, the medium-size Cheongchun gamjatang came with 7 to 8 bones and a sujebi (hand-torn dough) serving included as standard, easily enough for three people alongside a plate of fried rice. Between the clean dining room and the generous portions, Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang works just as well for a family dinner or a group get-together.

Today's post is about an Incheon Nonhyeon restaurant serving hangover soup and gamjatang (pork bone stew): Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang Incheon Nonhyeon Branch. I'd been drinking the night before and went looking for somewhere to properly cure my hangover the next day, and that's how I ended up here haha

From Incheon Nonhyeon Station exit 3, head toward the Calliope building — Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang is right across from Daiso. If you're looking for somewhere to eat dinner near Incheon Nonhyeon Station, the location and accessibility are great.
Interior and seating — good for group gatherings too

The interior of Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang Incheon Nonhyeon Branch was really clean overall. The tables were spaced generously apart, so eating with several people is easy. That means it could work fine as a family meal spot, or as a place for a group gathering.

Cups and small side plates were set out next to the tables, and there was a charging area near the entrance. They also had aprons ready, which you definitely need here.
Menu: bone stew and gamjatang, hangover soup and kalguksu

The Cheongchun Bulppyeojjim Gamjatang menu was split into cooked dishes and meal dishes. The cooked dishes include bone stew and gamjatang, while the meal menu has hangover soup, kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and more. If you're visiting with several people, ordering gamjatang or bone stew to share is great, and if you're eating alone or want something simple, a meal-menu item like hangover soup works well.
Basic side dishes: chive salad and kimchi

The basic side dishes were seasoned chives and kimchi. The diced radish kimchi was really good haha, it paired well with the gamjatang broth.
Medium Cheongchun gamjatang — plenty even for 3 people

What we ordered was the Cheongchun gamjatang, medium size. It came out really generous, right? Even at medium size, it had about 7-8 bones and was plenty for three of us to eat.

There was a lot of meat on the bones, and most importantly the meat was so tender it came right off the bone. The meat wasn't chewy at all so it was easy to eat, and it tasted amazing with the gamjatang broth.
It was also great dipped straight into the sauce haha. That's really what gamjatang is about — picking meat off the bone and dipping it in sauce!
Napa cabbage and potatoes, plus free sujebi

There was plenty of napa cabbage in the pot too, along with mushrooms and potatoes. Sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) was included as standard, so you get to enjoy a good variety without having to add extra sides yourself. The sujebi was nice and chewy, right up my alley haha.

Lastly, we ordered fried rice too. It had been ages since I'd had fried rice with gamjatang, and honestly, fried rice really is the perfect way to finish!!!
