Sriracha mayo chicken box takeout in Songdo food hall: Angry Potato
In short
Angry Potato Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a chicken and potato stall in the basement 1 food hall of Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo in Yeonsu, Incheon. The order was a Deep Crunch chicken box, mini burger skewers and a cider for about 32,000 won, with the sauces squeezed out by hand at the self-packing counter and taken home to eat, and the sriracha mayo was the one that stood out. The chewy potato disappeared even without sauce, though it is worth packing the adult sauces separately.

I went to Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo and got hungry, so I stopped by the basement food court. This time I picked menu items I don't usually order and packed them up to take home. The place I visited was Angry Potato Songdo branch.

Where is Angry Potato in Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, and what are the hours?

Incheon Line 1 Technopark Station Exit 2 connects directly to the outlet's basement level, so it's pretty easy to get to by public transit. If you're driving, you can use the outlet's parking lot, and it wasn't awkward at all to pack food up at the food court and head straight out.

Angry potato buckets everywhere hahaha. If you visit late, it might be worth checking things like stock beforehand.

How the sauce bar works: squeeze your own for takeout
One thing I liked about packing takeout from Angry Potato was being able to squeeze out exactly the sauce I wanted to bring home. Rather than drenching the chicken or potato right away, bringing the sauce separately and controlling the amount as you eat let me enjoy it exactly to taste.

Of all the sauces, the one I liked best was the sriracha mayo. The mild richness of mayonnaise combined with sriracha's signature spiciness, and it felt like it cut through the greasiness. If you like spicy food, this one will probably suit your taste pretty well. It was good dipped lightly on chicken, and it also paired well with fries.

I was curious about the Doobaek potato chips too, but the chicken box was already so generous that... I'll save that for next time...

What comes in the 32,000 won Deep Crunch chicken box and mini burger skewers

Chicken... I love chicken!!

When they hand it to you like this, you squeeze on as much sauce as you want and self-pack it into the bag!

Haha, packed up and off home we go

Is Angry Potato chicken too salty or spicy for kids?
The chicken pieces are huge, so eating two or three fills you up haha. There's quite a lot, enough for two or three people to share. The sriracha mayo I enjoyed so much was on the spicy side for kids, and overall both the chicken and potato might taste a bit salty by a young child's standards. So if you're eating with kids, I'd recommend keeping the sauce separate so only the adults dip into it. In households like mine with a young kid, letting the kids eat the chicken or potato plain while the adults add the spicy sauce makes things much easier for everyone.

Mini burger skewers at Angry Potato
This menu comes with three small burgers, so it felt different from eating one regular burger. They're good bite-sized and easy to share, and worked well as a side when ordering several other items together. If you're like us and want to try a bit of everything, adding a side menu like this instead of just ordering one big item is a good idea.

Mac and cheese and the chewy potato
That thick, creamy mac and cheese ♡

Fries dunked into white sauce. Personally I thought this would go really well with a beer.

The kids loved the chewy potato — it really is chewy and stretches like rice cake hahaha. I gave it to the kids without sauce and they ate it up so well haha.

Is Angry Potato worth it for chicken and fries takeout in Songdo?
Chicken really tastes best dunked generously in sauce hahaha. Packing several menu items from Angry Potato this time, I liked that chicken, potato, and mini burgers could all be prepared together in one order. In particular, the Deep Crunch chicken box wasn't just chicken — it came with a potato item too, which made it a good choice when you want to eat a bit of everything. That said, if you're eating with young kids, it's better to control the sauce separately with the seasoning and spice level in mind.
Of everything I tried this time, the sriracha mayo sauce was the most memorable. If you're an adult who likes spicy flavors, I'd recommend trying it with the chicken or potato. If you're shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo and looking for something quick to eat, or want to pack chicken and potato to enjoy comfortably at home, this place is worth a stop!!haha
