What Tomoru Bakery looks like from the street

Tomoru Bakery sits on the 1st floor of Arcria Building 2. Every loaf here is said to be mixed and baked by hand by a certified master pastry chef. So that's why the place is so big — and why there are so many staff. The power of a master baker. The sign lists organic flour, natural sourdough starter, AOP-certified butter, antibiotic-free eggs, and no artificial additives.

There's also outdoor terrace seating.

Why Songdo locals keep walking into Tomoru Bakery
When I first walked in there were no other customers, but the moment I started picking out bread, people kept streaming in. Turns out this place is already famous locally as a go-to bakery for Songdo residents. Most of the customers were locals. If you're on an Incheon Songdo bakery tour, this one's worth a stop.
I photographed pretty much every bread I could, but I may have missed a few that were cut off at the edge of the frame. If you park in the building's basement, be sure to give your license plate number at checkout to get the parking support.
Taste test: the six breads I took home from Tomoru Bakery

Corn bread ₩5,000 / Kkaedori ₩4,800 / Sweet pumpkin rice bread ₩5,700 / Cream mammoth bread ₩6,500 / Choco baguette ₩6,000 / Egg tart ₩3,200
Sweet pumpkin rice bread, 5,700 won

If you're buying a gift to bring to your parents' place, definitely get the sweet pumpkin rice bread.
There's rice cake baked into the bread, so it's so chewy
Savory and comforting, really good. Just be sure to eat it the same day.
Choco baguette, 6,000 won

This one's a total hit for the MZ generation's taste. The chocolate cream inside pairs really well with the baguette. Right up my alley haha. Next time I want to try the Dubai chocolate baguette too. Dubai-style chewy-crunchy desserts tend to be pricier, so I went with the regular choco baguette this time — but now I'm curious how good the Dubai version must be. If they sold it cut in half at half price, I'd have bought it.
Cream mammoth bread, 6,500 won

I'd read in advance on other blogs that Tomoru's mammoth bread is delicious, so I picked one up — and it really is great. My parents loved it too. The bread has a cookie-like texture, and the cream, strawberry jam, and red bean work together beautifully. If it were just a touch less sweet it'd be a perfect 100. I loved the cookie-like texture on the top and bottom. Honestly the best mammoth bread I've had compared to other bakeries.
Kkaedori 4,800 won and egg tart 3,200 won
Kkaedori is a sweet, crunchy rusk-style bread.
The egg tart here is solid too. I'd kept mine in the fridge and ate it the next day with low expectations, but it was still flaky and full of flavor. Egg tarts are technically meant to be frozen, but I'm impatient so I put it in the fridge instead haha — the owner would probably be horrified if they saw that.
Corn milk bread, 5,000 won
The corn bread is soft and fluffy, really nice haha. I kept it at room temperature at home and it was still soft even 3 days after buying it. My parents loved this one too.
The two desserts that stuck with me most were the sweet pumpkin rice bread and the mammoth bread!
Final verdict on Tomoru Bakery
I found Tomoru Bakery while looking for a bakery near Songdo Central Park, and I'll definitely be back — the variety is great and, more importantly, the bread is genuinely delicious. The staff were friendly too. It was also nice that 4 hours of parking is supported when you shop there. If you're looking for a great bakery near Incheon National University Station, I recommend Tomoru Bakery in Songdo.
