Bucheon café for takeout milk bread and nutty coffee: Easy White Bread

I often go looking for a delicious place for fresh milk bread to have as an office snack near work. This new bread shop, Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong, is already famous in Bucheon for its bread, so I went for a visit.

Even from the front of the shop, it had that fresh, cheerful bakery feeling! The buttery scent reached me right at the door, and before I knew it my eyes had been drawn straight to the bakery.

Freshly baked milk bread and the menu, every day

Easy White Bread puts out freshly baked bread every single day. With so many popular milk-bread shops around these days, I thought, “This must be another place with lots of buttery bread, right?” But unlike other bread shops, its bread was savory and full of buttery flavor! It is already well known in the neighborhood, and even older customers were waiting in line.

The milk-bread lineup starts with its signature Golden Beurre fresh milk bread, followed by olive cheese fresh milk bread, walnut cranberry rye fresh milk bread, soboro chestnut glutinous rice cake fresh milk bread, fresh cream castella fresh milk bread, and more. Today, I ordered the most basic Golden Beurre fresh milk bread and two Americanos to go!

There are jams and cream cheeses to spread on the bread too... haha. There are four kinds of cream cheese, and I added the walnut cream cheese and fig cream cheese. It looks like they also sell fruit sando sandwiches! But when I visited at 4 PM, they were sold out.... Every last one. Such a shame. ㅠㅡㅠ

Fresh milk bread sliced to your preferred thickness

Best of all, you can have the fresh milk bread cut to whatever thickness you like. A thickness for eating with jam, a standard toast-bread thickness, or one that lets you really taste the bread’s own buttery flavor!

Easy White Bread makes its bread fresh every day. It is produced that same day, so the milk bread is fresh.

The shop interior is not very large, so it feels a little awkward to sit down and eat there...? Still, there is enough space to take a proper break while waiting for your bread.

They also have review and follower events! They are very simple, so join in and get some cream cheese. You can choose either the receipt-review event or the follower event to receive your free gift.

You can also buy the milk bread as a whole loaf. Next time, I want to buy a whole loaf and tear into it with my hands.

Easy White Bread says it uses French AOP naturally fermented butter and dairy cream, among other ingredients, and perhaps that is why its bread has a distinctly savory buttery flavor compared with ordinary sliced bread!

Golden Beurre and coffee to go

I decided to take everything away! Most people seemed to be getting takeout. They slice the bread right away, and their hands were seriously so quick.

I ordered coffee too. I heard they drip the coffee beans themselves, so it takes a little time. But you can choose between nutty beans and beans with acidity. Naturally, I completed my order with the nutty option 😍

I took home the two cream cheeses as well. Time to unwrap the bread and start tasting—my heart was already fluttering.

I spread it right onto the bread, but I think it would also be great lightly toasted once in a toaster.

Cream cheese and milk bread are a combination that simply cannot be bad.... The fig cream cheese especially is love. When the cool autumn season approaches, it has to be figs!
