It's totally terrace weather these days〰️🤍 My friends and I met up in Sinnonhyeon for dinner and said let's find a café with an outdoor terrace, and it turned out there was a café right near the restaurant that was exactly my style✨ From baked goods to cakes, the dessert lineup was huge, plus it had a terrace — perfect. This is Upper and Under. Gangnam Sinnonhyeon Station aesthetic café review, let's go〰️🤍

Where is Upper and Under, and how are its floors laid out?

Upper and Under is right near Sinnonhyeon Station, about a 5-minute walk away, so the location is so good haha. The entire building is run as the café, spread across 3 floors from 1st to 3rd. The 1st floor is a separate, independent space from the 2nd and 3rd, and you order on the 2nd floor ☕️ (the 2nd and 3rd floors are connected by interior stairs)

The café space spans 3 floors so it felt wide and varied! Even on a weekday evening there were quite a lot of people haha. So we ordered on the 2nd floor first and decided to grab a terrace seat on the 3rd—

Choosing desserts at Upper and Under after a meat dinner

We just came from eating meat until we were stuffed, but dessert is a no-can-skip~~~~~ dessert has its own separate stomach, right..!

There are several kinds of baked goods — pies, financiers, madeleines, canelés, and more,

and there were 7 kinds of cake too 🍰 pretty diverse haha. Colorful and cute >.<

With three of us, two desserts felt a little short. So naturally we added a cake^^ self-added~ ✔️ Fig cake ₩8,500

What is the 3rd floor terrace like?

Order, then head up the interior stairs to the 3rd floor! There's an outdoor terrace seating area up there too 🌿

Every floor has restrooms inside, the space is spacious, and there were quite a lot of tables! Even on a weekday evening there were lots of people, so I couldn't get great interior shots,,haha

The long-awaited terrace seat 🌿✨ Sitting on a terrace like this with coffee and dessert in weather like this is total vibes haha. Feels like it'd raise the success rate for a blind date or a crush too

There were quite a lot of tables on the terrace too! When we went, it was so busy there wasn't really a free spot on the terrace. So we just decided to sit inside,,

The inside seats had good vibes too, but something felt missing, right. So we just headed back out to the terrace lol. Grabbed an extra chair for a 2-person table〰️

It was great that they had decaf beans, and both the coffee and the desserts were delicious ☕️🍰 The kind of taste that keeps going in even when you're already full, need I say more haha
