Gnocchi and shrimp risotto in Yeonsu, Incheon: Cenacolo Artfore

Visited 09.09.26. There’s roughly a year until the wedding... so it’s not diet time yet, right? As always, I went hunting for something delicious haha. This time, I went to Cenacolo Artfore, an Italian restaurant in Central Park Artfore in Songdo that’s known for pasta, gnocchi, and risotto!

Just park in the underground lot at Songdo Artfore! It was super spacious, which made it really convenient. Plenty of room too!! Cenacolo Artfore is in Building C, so take the elevator and get off on the second floor.

Not quite a pro tip, but... if you park on B1, use the elevator in front of pillar 10; it’s close to the restaurant when you arrive on the second floor! If you’re near pillar 4, get off on the first floor and take the escalator—the restaurant is right in front of you!

Wait... why is it so pretty here?! It was my first time at Artfore, and the second I stepped out of the elevator, I thought I was in Europe... Such a lovely exotic feel ♡ The restaurant exterior was so pretty too!! Tucked among Artfore’s distinctly international-looking buildings, it was photogenic from the outside alone haha.

Red Ribbon is apparently a certification mark for restaurants that pair well with Coca-Cola, selected through a collaboration between Korea’s Blue Ribbon Survey dining guide and Coca-Cola.

Cenacolo Artfore has received this “restaurant that goes well with Coca-Cola” certification for each of the past three years! We absolutely had to order Coke...

An international atmosphere of brick and warm lighting

What you see as soon as you walk in! Brick walls and warm lighting—say no more about the atmosphere, right? (˶ ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ ˶) Drinks and alcohol were displayed in front of the counter. I kept feeling like I was traveling abroad. It’s just that international in atmosphere. The table was set as standard.

Such a romantic restaurant atmosphere. There are cafés nearby too, so it would be perfect for a first date (˶ᐢωᐢ˶)💕 They were thoughtful toward families as well! High chairs were properly set out, so families with little ones can eat comfortably. There were actually about two baby guests when we visited too haha.

But they also have a paper menu, whew (╥_╥`) They say it’s a restaurant that goes well with Coke, but Coke sure is expensive here. Well, this is an atmospheric restaurant after all...

The menu was paper too, with a sort of vintage feel,, (ᴗˬᴗ)⁾⁾ They say Cenacolo Artfore is known in Songdo for pasta, gnocchi, and risotto. Then shouldn’t we try them all? ૮₍˶•🐽•˶₎ა

They say the three signature dishes are mushroom cream gnocchi, shrimp rosé pasta, and shrimp mascarpone pasta, but my boyfriend has very definite likes and dislikes, so there was another pasta he wanted... And since we were definitely ordering gnocchi, I wasn’t too keen on ordering another cream-based dish.. ૮ ’• ˕ •` ა

A meal where all three dishes arrived together

When you order, they bring out this bread appetizer. Balsamic sauce—the universal rule at Italian restaurants haha. I didn’t want to fill up on bread, so I made Punggeun eat it all ʕ•̫͡•ʔ♬✧

Usually at restaurants like this, the dishes come one by one, so I wait until everything is out to take photos. But at Cenacolo Artfore, all three dishes came out at once lol. Ding-dong-dang, three plates all together. My boyfriend’s pasta pick just tasted like tomato pasta to me, but... he really enjoyed it.

This, thisㅠ So delicious. We like to think we’ve had quite a bit of gnocchi, and my boyfriend said it was the best gnocchi he’s ever had! It really was delicious •ಳ•ಣ

Such a good orderㅠ The mushroom cream gnocchi was cream-based, so it had quite a rich, heavy taste, but this dish really balanced it out. The plump shrimp you bite into along the way were excellent too.

But one little disappointment: I selected “please make it not spicy” because I was worried it might be too hot, and it really wasn’t spicy at all. I think it would have been even better with just a little kick overall. I kind of regretted ordering it that wayㅠㅠ Just so you know, the “please make it not spicy” option truly means no spice at all! Maybe that’s obvious,,

After stuffing ourselves with pasta, gnocchi, and risotto, we headed home^^ The exterior looked even prettier once the lights came on. It was my first time at Central Park Artfore, so... I looked around nearby a bit ･ᴥ･

Ahh... it was even prettier when we came out toward the lake... So we had been in there!

Mmm, so pretty! (ᵒ̤̑ ◁ ᵒ̤̑) wow! There was even a man taking photos with a professional camera. I came for delicious food, but it turned into a day of seeing lots of pretty things too.
