What kind of café is Cozy Bear in Songdo?

Today I went to Cozy Bear Café 🧸🤎 in Songdo — not only was the cute bear 🐻 drawing adorable, but the signature latte was seriously... nutty to the core. It's the kind of latte you keep thinking about after one sip, a true latte-lover-approved spot. And it's not just coffee — Cozy Bear is a bakery café that specializes in salt bread, so you can find all kinds, from potato salt bread to mentaiko, garlic, and ang-butter hahahaha.

Walking in, a lovely owner welcomed me 🐻🐻🐻🐻 The location is right in front of a grocery mart too, so it's great for grabbing salt bread and coffee to go after shopping. Love it.

You could really feel how serious they are about salt bread and coffee hahahahaha. Basically all my favorite things in one place ❤️

What we ordered: Cozy Bear's signature cozy latte

Honestly I'm usually a latte lover, but I've always thought a plain iced americano pairs best with bakery items like salt bread and croissants. But at Cozy Coffee, what is it? The cozy latte, that's what lol. I fell for the cozy latte so hard I wanted to devour every signature item one by one lolol.

They said if you write a Naver review, you get a free salt bread too. You've got to take part in stuff like this lol.

Cozy Bear salt bread flavors and prices

The salt breads caught my eye, so let me introduce them one by one lolol.

Plain salt bread (₩3,500) — the basic of basics. I'm someone who believes the plain one has to be good for the rest of the flavors to be good too.

This is the sold-out handmade ang-butter salt bread — apparently they boil the red beans in-store themselves. I mean, ang-butter salt bread is a must, isn't it lol.

Along with spicy mentaiko, garlic is one of the best-selling flavors. Since I'm a garlic lover, I managed to snag the very last one. Garlic garlic.

There's also potato and castella salt bread. Fresh batches come out daily at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., so if you time your visit right, you get to taste them warm out of the oven, yay.

Seeing the salt bread tray made my mouth water even more lolol.

How does the cozy latte taste?

This latte is the real deal... I'd rank it among the best lattes I've ever had — nutty like roasted grain tea powder lolol. The moment I took a sip I thought, "Wow, this is good!" lol. It's smooth, nutty, and sweet in just the right balance, not heavy at all, so my hand kept reaching for it and I finished it in no time hahahaha.

And can we talk about how cute the packaging was lol.

Castella salt bread at Cozy Bear

The castella salt bread was fluffy, and the cream inside blended smoothly with the salt bread — no hardness, all softness.
