Incheon jazz bar with lake views and live quintet: Jazz 257

Live jazz by Songdo Central Park

I visited Jazz 257, a Songdo jazz bar where you can enjoy atmospheric live jazz near Songdo Central Park! Haha.

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch (재즈257 송도센트럴파크점) is in Building D of Artfore by Central Park Station. The area around Artfore was sooo pretty >_< It was especially atmospheric at night!

Head up to the second floor of Artfore Building D, and there is Jazz 257, a great restaurant by Songdo Central Park! Haha.

Jazz 257 has been open for over five years and has become one of Songdo's signature jazz bars. It hosts jazz performances by some of Korea's top musicians. The dishes made directly by its foreign chef are impressive too, so you can have a delicious meal along with a jazz performance.

A lake-view setting for anniversaries and gatherings

The interior was decorated so beautifully too! Haha. It looked perfect for an anniversary or a group get-together. There was actually a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary when we visited; the staff lit sparklers and took photos for them, and it looked like it would be an unforgettable anniversary, haha.

We reserved for 7:30 p.m. on Friday! Haha. The performance ran from 8 to 10 p.m., so it was great to watch while having dinner, haha.

Ordering stone steak and wine

Jazz 257 sells main dishes including steak and pizza, plus a variety of wines and whiskies. On weekdays from 5 to 8 p.m., it has unlimited wine for happy hour, which wine lovers would really enjoy, haha. We ordered the stone steak and one glass each of white and red wine.

Every table has something like a snow globe, and they were so pretty, haha. Our table had a cute turtle, hahaha.

Flaming stone steak with the performance

Before the show began, the musicians started tuning their instruments. I was so excited to hear what the jazz quintet would play tonight, haha.

Once the performance started, our stone steak arrived too! Hahaha. They put on a spectacular flame performance! Hahaha. It was so fascinating and fun, haha.

Doesn't the steak on the hot stone look sooo appetizing?! Hahaha.

The steak arrived nearly rare, with just the outside seared. The stone was extremely hot, so I loved being able to cook it to my preferred doneness, haha.

It was a moist steak with a real charred aroma on the outside! Haha. So delicious!!

We grilled the garnishes properly too, and why were they so delicious? Hahaha. Since the stone stayed hot, it was nice that we could keep everything warm, haha.

A jazz quintet filling Friday night

Needless to say, the jazz performance was so good >_< Being able to enjoy this caliber of performance every day!! Hahaha. I truly loved it so, so much, haha.

Friday night slowly came alive as we listened to the joyful playing.

The vocalist had such a beautiful tone too~ Haha. I was absorbed in that soothing voice throughout the performance~

Jazz 257 was so, so lovely for enjoying delicious food and a jazz performance in a wonderful setting while looking over Songdo Lake!! Haha. I totally recommend Jazz 257 for an anniversary or a special day—it would be even better then! Haha.
