I ordered the Solo Set for 1 (choosing mackerel and soft tofu stew) plus an egg roll (●'◡'●)

Basic side dishes including radish kimchi and seasoned bean sprouts

Radish kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, fish cake and more — the basic spread comes out like this.

The banchan that came with the basic spread can be refilled for free at the self-bar! Just a heads up.

Full spread of the solo set meal

The solo set arrived looking so full! I was on the fence about adding the egg roll, but the moment I saw it I was glad I did! Haha

Grilled mackerel, the main dish of the solo set

The grilled mackerel

The main dish, grilled mackerel ╰(*°▽°*)╯ The skin was grilled nice and crispy while the flesh stayed moist, clean, and free of any fishy smell. There was just enough oil in it so it wasn't salty, with a mild savory depth. It's the kind of taste that keeps you reaching for another bite with rice. Something parents and kids alike could enjoy without hesitation!

Soft tofu stew simmered until reduced

The soft tofu stew

An unexpected standout, the soft tofu stew (●ˇ∀ˇ●) Simmered until the broth was reduced, the soft tofu was smooth and savory, and one spoonful in already felt satisfying. The seasoning wasn't harsh either, clean enough that even people who can't handle salty food could eat it comfortably. A dish that's perfect for finishing off a whole bowl of rice!

Egg roll ordered as an add-on

Adding an egg roll (gyeran-mari)

The fluffy, delicious egg roll ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ Fluffy on the outside, moist and well-rolled on the inside, it looked satisfying from the get-go. Not salty, with a gentle sweetness — right up my alley since I've got kid-friendly taste buds.
