I usually watch Kang Min-kyung's vlog, and when I heard the burger place she featured, Daily Fix, had opened a branch in Jamsil's Jangmi Sangga, I rushed right over! Her picks are always reliable, and she raved so much about the bacon cheeseburger that my husband and I dashed to Jangmi Sangga to try it ourselves. Here's my honest review of this Jamsil Station burger spot, where the 100% Korean beef patty and smoked house-made bacon come together beautifully!

Down in the basement of the old-school Jangmi Sangga, this burger pub pulls off a modern, hip American vibe that feels really pleasant. There are cozy bar seats perfect for solo diners, plus roomy table seating, all laid out neatly.

Head down to the basement of Jangmi Sangga Building B and you'll spot Daily Fix's clean, modern facade right in the same row as Popeye Bunsik, Shibuya Donkatsu, and Risar Coffee! It's also close to Olympic Park and Lotte World / Lotte World Mall, making it a super convenient stop for a weekend outing or date near Olympic Park.

Walking in, the subtle smell of smoked bacon and grilling patties drifted through the air and instantly sharpened my appetite haha. The tables are arranged neatly and the place is clearly well-kept hygiene-wise, so it has this charming mix of the basement's old-school warmth and trendy hipness!

Bacon cheeseburger, 12,900 won, with house-smoked bacon

The first thing we ordered was Daily Fix's signature, most popular menu item — the bacon cheeseburger (₩12,900)! The moment the plate arrived, my husband and I both let out a gasp at the glossy bun and the sheer thickness of the patty haha.

This is the exact burger Kang Min-kyung raved about on YouTube. Even the visual alone was on another level. The thick slabs of bacon made it look even more mouthwatering.

This isn't thin, salty store-bought bacon — it's thick, house-smoked bacon made in-house, so every bite fills your mouth with a rich, smoky aroma.

The 100% Korean beef patty had zero gamey taste and real meat texture, crispy-charred on the outside and juicy on the inside — the bite was pure art!

Double cheeseburger, 15,900 won, with two Korean beef patties

For meat lovers who can't pass this up, we also tried the truly American-style double cheeseburger (₩15,900)! It packs a whopping two thick 100% Korean beef patties, topped with gooey American cheese and rich Swiss cheese melting all over — the visual alone was overwhelming haha.

The moment you bite in, the deep umami of the Korean beef and the salty, savory flavor of the two cheeses burst in your mouth! Even with two patties stacked in, it never turns dry — it's soft and tender, with the bun, cheese, and sauce balanced perfectly. I immediately got why it won second place at a burger championship 👍

Are the signature 18mm fries worth the extra charge?

No burger meal is complete without its perfect sidekick, and Daily Fix's 18mm fries are a must-order! They slice Belgian potatoes into thick 18mm cuts before frying.

Crispy on the outside with a soft, fluffy potato interior packed inside — such a satisfying bite haha. Personally I find these thick-cut fries way more enjoyable than the thin kind.

Plain ketchup is good, but adding the slightly tangy Daily Fix signature sauce and dipping generously cuts right through the fries' oiliness — I could eat them endlessly haha.

The regular thin fries have their own charm too, but I'd recommend paying the extra charge to switch to the 18mm fries!

Coleslaw that cuts through the richness

Daily Fix's coleslaw is a side that balances out the richness of the burgers. Burgers are naturally an oily food, so if you want something refreshing, I recommend the coleslaw haha. Ordering it alongside definitely keeps things from getting too heavy.
