Review-event mulhoe at a Jeonpo Station sashimi restaurant: Rigo Susan
In short
Rigo Susan Jeonpo Station Main Branch is an aged sashimi restaurant in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan. The writer booked through Naver, ordered the aged live-fish sashimi at the kiosk, and joined both review events, getting a taster of mulhoe (chilled raw fish soup) for a Naver review and maeuntang (spicy fish stew) for a Catch Table review. With corn cheese, cold udon and okonomiyaki among the free side dishes, plus a hair iron and disposable mouthwash in the restroom, Rigo Susan works well for a date night in Jeonpo.

Rigo Susan Jeonpo Station Main Branch: a sashimi restaurant in Jeonpo, Busan
Hi, this is Heumnyaring! I was looking for a good sashimi restaurant in Jeonpo, and while searching I found Rigo Susan. There were a lot of reviews saying the fish was fresh and the side dishes (banchan) were generous, so I was curious — let me walk you through exactly how it went! If you're looking for a sashimi place in Jeonpo, come along with me.

Book Rigo Susan on Naver and skip the wait
This is what the inside of Rigo Susan looks like! It was clean and comfortable, so it was a nice place to eat. I booked ahead through Naver before visiting! Thanks to that, I could eat comfortably without waiting.

Review events: free mulhoe and maeuntang
I could order easily through the kiosk! And Rigo Susan was running review events too — they give you water kimchi soup (mulhoe) for writing a Naver review, and spicy fish stew (maeuntang) for writing a Catch Table review! I joined both, so I got to enjoy the mulhoe and the maeuntang as well.

And while we waited after ordering, they gave us popcorn too! Sweet and tasty, haha!!

Free side dishes at Rigo Susan, from corn cheese to okonomiyaki
Rigo Susan's side dishes (banchan) came out filling the whole table! Apparently the lineup of side dishes changes a little day to day! Whenever I go to a sashimi restaurant, corn cheese is my favorite, and I was so happy they had it here too, haha.

On top of that, cold udon, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), shrimp, okonomiyaki, and more came out, so it was fun trying a bit of everything! The side dishes were so generous overall that I was already full before the sashimi even arrived.
Everything was so tasty that my hand kept reaching for more! And the main event — the sashimi — hadn't even come out yet, but I was already full, lol.
And my boyfriend peeled the shrimp for me himself, haha. Thanks to that I got to just eat comfortably! You know shrimp someone else peels for you always tastes the best, right?

Aged sashimi wrapped in seaweed with wasabi
Finally, the sashimi we'd been waiting for showed up! We ordered the aged raw fish (sashimi) platter! Even though I was already pretty full from the side dishes, my appetite came right back the moment I saw the fish, haha. It looked so fresh just by sight that I quickly tried a piece!

I put a piece of sashimi on seaweed (gim), added a little wasabi, and took a bite. The nutty flavor of the seaweed, the chewy texture of the fish, and the sharp kick of wasabi came together perfectly, haha. This really is the best way to eat sashimi!

The tasting portion of water kimchi soup (mulhoe) from the review event came out too! It was cool and tangy-sweet, so it was nice to eat a bit of it between bites of sashimi, haha. Cold like fine slush, it made my mouth feel completely refreshed! This was really delicious too.

Finishing with maeuntang (spicy fish stew)
And finally, the bubbling spicy fish stew (maeuntang) arrived! It was served piping hot, so the moment I took a spoonful of the broth, my whole body warmed right up, haha. The spicy, refreshing broth was the perfect way to wrap up the sashimi meal!

Restroom with a hair iron and disposable mouthwash
And I really liked these thoughtful amenities at Rigo Susan! The restroom even had a hair iron ready, plus disposable mouthwash, so it was easy to freshen up after the meal, haha. Especially for a date or a get-together, having these little details covered made it even more satisfying!
Why Rigo Susan is worth it for sashimi in Jeonpo
Overall, the fish was fresh and the side dishes came out in such variety that I really enjoyed the meal! The staff were kind too! If you want to enjoy fresh sashimi along with a generous spread of side dishes in Jeonpo, I recommend Rigo Susan as a sashimi spot in Jeonpo! It was also a great place to visit as a date, and it's somewhere I'd love to go back to next time I'm craving sashimi in Jeonpo.
