What is the studio like inside?

Once inside the building and up to the 2nd floor, you'll find a door reading DOUBLE D at the end of the hallway.

Open the door and a bright, tidy space unfolds, quite different from the mood outside.

Cream-colored walls, soft curved design, and gentle lighting all come together for a clean yet calm feel overall.

The waiting area is fairly spacious, and blue cushions placed as accent points add a bit of life to the simple space. 💙

The treatment area was organized around white and gray tones, with the bed, lighting and tools all neatly arranged, making it comfortable to stay in even on a first visit.

Double D lash perm price list

Based on Double D's posted price list, lash lifts are: Signature Pure Perm ₩45,000, black tinting for double the definition +₩10,000, and a high-concentration clinic (recommended for damaged lashes) +₩10,000.

Extensions are: basic extension ₩50,000, perm point ₩65,000, extension retouch ₩20,000, and removal from another salon ₩10,000.

How does the consultation work?

Rather than forcing the eyes to look sharply defined no matter what, the direction was to keep my original impression while making it look a bit more polished and clear. Having a thorough consultation before starting made it much easier to describe the look I wanted.

Lash condition before the perm

Before the treatment, my lashes were naturally facing downward overall.

Since my lashes didn't stand out much when my eyes were open, I asked this time for something that curled up softly along my eye shape rather than a dramatic bend. We looked together at what curl would suit my eyes and checked lash length and direction before starting.

Step by step: the lash perm at Double D

Double D's Seomyeon lash lift wasn't just about lifting the curl as high as possible — it was done to shape the curl to my eyes so that the overall impression looked naturally put together when my eyes were open.

According to the salon, they use a no-glue method, don't use speed perm solution, and apply clinic care alongside the treatment process. They explained that they adjust products and curling methods depending on lash condition to consider reducing the strain that comes from repeated treatments.

How long it lasts can vary depending on each person's lash growth cycle and care routine, but the salon says they design for an average target of about 4 to 5 weeks.

How did the finished curl look?

Looking at the finished result, each lash was neatly turned upward, and my eyes looked a bit more defined than before. ✨ Rather than a straight, forced-up look, the flow continued naturally from inner corner to outer corner, so it wasn't overwhelming even head-on.

From the side, the curl's curve is a bit more visible, flowing smoothly all the way to the tips of the lashes for a cleaner, more polished eye look. Even without mascara, the lash line looked a bit more defined, so it seemed like it would suit anyone who likes light everyday makeup.

Up close, the lashes didn't look clumped together but rather each strand kept its own texture. Since the ideal curl differs by eye shape, it felt important not to just copy a design from a photo but to adjust it bit by bit to fit your own eyes. If you're trying a Seomyeon lash lift for the first time, or if a past lift left you disappointed because the curl was too strong or too weak, it might help to speak specifically about the level you want during the consultation.

The stylist was kind and attentive, examining my eye shape and lash condition together and explaining the process and design in a way that was easy to understand, so I could relax through the whole treatment.
