A friend I met recently told me about a handmade burger spot in Jeonpo called Dufftown Burger 🍔 The combination of thick patties hand-trimmed fresh every day, savory-nutty cheese, fresh vegetables, and a soft brioche bun was so good (the sweet potato fries were seriously delicious too) that I know I'll be back again and again — so let me introduce Dufftown, a handmade burger spot in Jeonpo.
We ordered a Classic Deluxe, a Double Cheese Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, and a Zero Coke.

Monday before 5pm at Dufftown: how busy is it, and what's the room like?
The interior of Dufftown Burger mixes wood tones with metal accents in a way that's simple yet hip, and kind of kitschy too — stylish all around.
+ For reference, we visited at an in-between time before 5pm on a Monday and ate comfortably, but this place is popular enough that during regular evening hours there's actually a line 😅 There are cute posters scattered around too, so it's fun to look around while waiting for the burgers to come out.
Stuff like this is fun to look at, hehe (after reading this I flipped my burger upside down to eat it too).

Everything looked so delicious I really struggled to decide what to eat. When in doubt, go with the best-seller menu 🍔

A really delicious smell wafted over before my burgers arrived neatly lined up 🍔 It was the perfect burger visual — exactly what comes to mind when you think of the burger emoji 🫢
Classic Deluxe (₩9,800): the pick if you hate pickles
Looks exactly like the 🍔 emoji, right? This is the Classic Deluxe (₩9,800). It comes with lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese, crispy bacon and a patty.
The combination of a thick beef patty, minimal vegetables, and crunchy bacon was so good. If you can't give up vegetables but also can't give up cheese, I'd recommend adding an extra cheese to the Classic Deluxe! (For someone like me who doesn't like pickles in a burger, the Classic Deluxe was a total top pick.)
Like the comic poster earlier suggested, I flipped it upside down to eat it, hehe.
Double Cheese Burger: the pick if you hate vegetables
🧀 That perfect visual of cheese about to drip down — this is Dufftown Burger's Double Cheese Burger. The Double Cheese Burger is basically the American-style burger through and through.
With the thick patty and rich, gooey cheese, it really gave off authentic American cheeseburger vibes (I still haven't eaten a burger in the actual US 😅). Let's just call it the American burger of my imagination, haha.
To sum it up: it was so delicious / it felt like an illusion of traveling / it felt like eating a burger in a movie. If you hate vegetables, you have to try the Double Cheese Burger.
Sweet potato fries with Dufftown's self-serve sauces
And then the Sweet Potato Fries. I love sweet potatoes and I love fried food, so there's no way I could resist the Sweet Potato Fries 🍠 They were so, so delicious that my hand kept reaching for more.
We didn't order the vanilla sauce separately — instead we grabbed ketchup, mustard, and sweet chili sauce from the self-serve zone and dipped away. Sweet chili sauce was my favorite.
The mustard is, as advertised, salty and sour — ouch. But somehow the more you eat it, the more addictive it gets…? Haha. Start with a small dip a few times and work your way into it.

I could really feel the care put into running this Busan handmade burger spot, Dufftown Burger Jeonpo branch. Even I, who's pretty picky about handmade burgers, know I'll be coming back again and again and again.
