In short
Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station is a wood-fired pizza restaurant a 2-minute walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. The meal covered the vice president's recommended Stella pizza at 29,900 won, a burrata salad at 22,900 won and gamberi rosé crema, a shrimp rosé pasta, at 17,900 won, and the Stella came piled with prosciutto and rocket on a chewy star-shaped crust. Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station: 2 minutes from Hapjeong Station Exit 2

Back when I first joined the company, our vice president recommended Pizzeria O as one of his favorite spots — he even singled out the Stella pizza by name. I kept it saved on Naver Maps for ages before finally making it to the Hapjeong branch. It's just a 2-minute walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station, so it's super easy to get to.

The interior was really clean. There were about 8 four-person tables with generous spacing between them, which made it feel great for a date or a group gathering! In fact, there were both a dating couple and a group of older folks having a get-together there haha.

What we ordered at Pizzeria O and what it cost
My better half always orders a specific appetizer whenever we get wood-fired pizza — the fried calamari, haha. But annoyingly, it was sold out that day. As a consolation, we ordered the burrata salad instead, and for mains we went with the Stella pizza — the vice president's pick and Pizzeria O's bestseller — plus the gamberi rosé crema.
- Burrata salad ₩22,900
- Stella pizza ₩29,900
- Gamberi rosé crema ₩17,900

Jalapeños and pickles came out as a complimentary side — pretty much a given at any pizza place.

Burrata salad, 22,900 won: the first dish to arrive
First up was the burrata salad. Rocket, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, basil pesto — it was packed with ingredients that felt healthy just looking at them. The fragrant aroma of the rocket and basil pesto was especially lovely. And right in the center sat the star of the dish, a fresh ball of burrata cheese.

On the yellow plate, the green rocket and basil pesto, red cherry tomatoes, and white burrata cheese all came together in a lovely color combination. Tasty and pretty — a salad that delivered on both fronts!

Gamberi rosé crema, 17,900 won: how spicy is the shrimp pasta?
Next up was the gamberi rosé crema pasta. Apparently it uses Pizzeria O's own bisque sauce made from shrimp, crab, and more. It came loaded with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, and plenty of noodles, as you can see in the photo. Perfect for big eaters like us haha!

Thanks to the bisque sauce, the savory depth was out of this world. The menu says it's spicy, but in reality it's only mildly so — very manageable even for those with a low spice tolerance. Plump shrimp and perfectly cooked spaghetti dragged through that sauce made for a pretty good time~

Stella pizza, 29,900 won: star-shaped wood-fired pizza with prosciutto

The main event should always arrive last. The Stella pizza finally showed up. First, a full shot of the whole thing~

The Stella pizza comes piled with prosciutto, rocket, olives, Parmigiano Reggiano, and cherry tomatoes. Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza usually keeps toppings simple and modest, but Pizzeria O doesn't hold back on the Stella — and I loved that about it.

And the highlight of the Stella pizza — the dough folded into a star shape! Since it's called Stella, I thought of the cat Ha-tu-ha's Stella and tried to snap it like a little star-kitty haha. So cute for a pizza, lol.

Please overlook the smudge of basil pesto on the plate, haha^^ As for the Stella pizza itself — the savory, slightly funky aroma of the prosciutto paired beautifully with the fragrant, faintly bitter rocket. The cheese was piled on in chunks, so you'd bite into soft pockets of it here and there, which I loved. And the cherry tomatoes added a nice pop of freshness on top! The star-folded crust was baked chewy, and I enjoyed it right down to the last bite.

And of course, we finished it off with a Coke — well, Coke Zero, for a refreshing wrap-up!🥤
Who is Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station best for?
Looking back, the vice president's recommendation really was worth trusting. The Stella pizza has generous toppings for an Italian wood-fired pizza, so it should suit anyone who's found wood-fired pizza a bit too plain before. The star-shaped dough is adorable too haha. And the gamberi rosé crema was satisfying as well — that bisque sauce had serious depth! If you're looking for a good pizza place near Hapjeong Station, Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station is right there and worth a visit. Next time, I definitely want to try that fried calamari that was sold out.
