I was looking for something light to eat in Gangnam and ended up at Lazy Yogurt Gangnam! I've been really into thick Greek yogurt with fruit and various toppings lately, so I was excited to visit — and it was great that I could pick the flavor and fruit to match my taste haha.

Where is Lazy Yogurt Gangnam and how do you get there?

Lazy Yogurt Gangnam is located five minutes from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station! The address is 109 Yeoksam-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

Just in time for autumn, they've released a fall menu using rice and mugwort, so keep that in mind hahaha.

On one side of Lazy Yogurt Gangnam there's a guestbook notebook set out for writing in hahaha. Visitors are free to leave reviews, so it was fun to look through, and seeing the traces people left behind made the space feel a bit more warm and personal!

Another thing that stood out was that when I visited, there were also foreign customers eating yogurt in the store. Maybe because of the Gangnam location, I noticed people from all kinds of nationalities visiting and enjoying it, which made me think this place might be known among foreign tourists too. Getting to mix and match a Greek yogurt that's a bit different from the desserts commonly eaten in Korea seemed like it could be a fun experience for them as well.

The biggest advantage of Lazy Yogurt is that you can pick whatever combination of fruit and flavor you want! If you like refreshing flavors, fruit like orange or green grapes would be great, and if you prefer something nuttier and sweeter, a flavor like chestnut would suit you well!

The flavor lineup was way more varied than I expected — plain, soy milk, pistachio, cinnamon caramel cookie, cookies and cream, blueberry, strawberry, mugwort, rice, chestnut, black milk tea, and black sesame were all available.

  • Plain
  • Soy milk
  • Pistachio
  • Cinnamon caramel cookie
  • Cookies and cream
  • Blueberry
  • Strawberry
  • Mugwort
  • Rice
  • Chestnut
  • Black milk tea
  • Black sesame

There was a wide range of options basically from plain flavors to sweet and nutty ones, so it seemed easy to pick something based on your taste haha. I was especially drawn to this season's mugwort, rice, and chestnut flavors, which had that autumn feel to them!! In cooler fall weather like this, refreshing fruit flavors are nice, but these nutty, subtle flavors seemed to suit the season even better.

What I ordered: fig Beheu Single with chestnut flavor and a Claire Single

Two ordered Greek yogurt singles

What I ordered was the Beheu Single (₩8,600) with a seasonal fruit choice, plus a chestnut flavor add-on (+₩1,500)! I also ordered the Claire Single (₩8,600), paired with orange and green grapes and plain flavor, with a banana add-on for +₩1,000!

First off, the refreshing fruit and thick yogurt went really well together, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy! Especially with fresh, juicy fruit like orange and green grapes, they balanced out the richness of the yogurt so it felt clean to eat. I liked that the sweetness of the fruit itself came through alongside the plainness of the yogurt, so even as a dessert it didn't feel too heavy!

I also added the chestnut flavor I was personally curious about, and the subtly sweet chestnut flavor paired really well with the yogurt!! If plain yogurt is clean and plain-tasting, adding chestnut brought in a nutty, sweet touch that made it feel more like a proper dessert haha. Even with the same yogurt, the taste changes depending on which flavor you choose, so it was fun picking according to my taste haha.

When I went, they topped it with fig as the seasonal item, and it went really well with the chestnut flavor! I'd recommend this combination.

Is Lazy Yogurt Gangnam worth a visit in autumn?

Finished Greek yogurt and table shot at the end of the meal

If you're looking for a café or dessert in Gangnam and want something clean — thick Greek yogurt with fruit — rather than something overly sweet and heavy, this is a place worth visiting!! It's great to grab something simple on your own, and also good for ordering a few combinations to share haha.

Next time I visit, I'd like to try a different combination of fruit and flavor than what I had this time. I'd recommend this place to anyone in Gangnam looking for a yogurt dessert that's both refreshing and filling! Personally, I loved the chestnut flavor so much I think I'll be back for more!!
