Deep Dive, a dessert café in Jungang-dong, Ansan. Today I'm bringing you a review of Deep Dive, a café with just the right vibe for when you're craving good dessert late at night or in the early hours in Jungang-dong, Ansan :) From the menu to my visit experience, it's all in today's post.
Where is Deep Dive in Jungang-dong, Ansan, and is there parking?

Deep Dive is right in the center of Jungang-dong's nightlife strip, so it's super convenient to reach by public transit. It's an easy walk from Jungang Station on Line 4, and there are plenty of bus stops around too — great for anyone without a car. Plus the building supports underground parking, so driving there is easy as well :)

Deep Dive's hours: open until 2am
Deep Dive's biggest strength is that you can visit whenever you want without worrying about the time — it's open from 11am all the way to 2am! After a couple rounds of drinks in Jungang-dong, you often want something cool or sweet, but most cafés are already closed — so annoying. This place is also great for late-night café workers who need a space to hunker down :)

Deep Dive's all-black interior and floor-to-ceiling windows
Walk through the door and the first thing that catches your eye is the chic, modern all-black interior! The restrained lighting and stylish decor make it feel like you've walked into a gallery :)

One side of the store has a large window wall, so despite the black interior it still feels open. Looking out at the lush green trees through the glass made for a nice view too!

There's drinking water and phone chargers set up on one side of the store, so even if your phone is dying in the middle of the night and you forgot your charger, you can charge it fully ✨ There's also a receipt photo booth, so take some memories with whoever you're visiting with 📷
What's in Deep Dive's dessert showcase

The moment I walked up to the counter to order, what caught my eye most was, without question, the huge dessert showcase lighting up the store! The variety of cakes inside was beyond what I imagined, instantly grabbing the attention of any dessert fanatic —

From cakes piled high with seasonal fruit, to tarts topped with all kinds of cream fillings, to dense, rich gâteaux — the lineup rivals a proper bakery 👏

Next to the cakes, thick, hefty cookies are displayed by type, so there's real fun in picking which one to try 🎵

It's the kind of showcase that leaves you in a happy dilemma over what to pick — if you love dessert, just browsing this space will leave you very satisfied ~

Deep Dive isn't just about the desserts — the drink lineup to pair with them was well thought out too :)
How the fig yogurt cream cake and red velvet cream cheese cookie taste

That day we ordered the seasonal signature fig yogurt cream cake, the hefty red velvet cream cheese cookie, and a decaf americano! The drink and desserts looked so pretty that I had to take photos first before showing off to everyone 📷

A decaf americano you can enjoy guilt-free even on a late-night visit! When eating good dessert, ade or lattes are nice too, but honestly americano is my favorite ㅎ_ㅎ Ready to dig into dessert 👍

The fig yogurt cream cake exceeded my expectations :) The cream, with that distinctive tangy freshness of yogurt, melts in your mouth, and the sweetness wasn't overwhelming at all — I loved that. The sponge was pure moistness too!

Sometimes when you order a fresh fruit cake at a dessert café, the fruit is piled generously on top but barely visible inside the layers. Not here — the fresh figs were packed in generously, giving great texture and a strong fig flavor throughout 👍

The red velvet cream cheese cookie we ordered alongside it was also visually striking 👀 The thick cookie mixed with cream cheese had just the right dense, rich chewiness, and paired with coffee, it was truly the perfect combination 👏
