Gangnam poke restaurant with a no-rice salad-only bowl: Ola Poke
In short
Ola Poke Gangnam is a poke and salad restaurant in the basement of a building about 290m from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. The chicken breast poke was ordered salad only with no rice for 11,000 won, and the avocado poke came as 70% salad and 30% rice for 10,500 won, both piled with plenty of vegetables. Because Ola Poke Gangnam lets you set the rice-to-salad ratio yourself, it works well on a day when you want a light but filling meal.

Poke is something I reach for often when I want a meal that's not too heavy but still satisfying.

- Chicken breast poke (salad only) ₩11,000
- Avocado poke (salad 7, rice 3) ₩10,500

The self-serve corner had lemon water, spoons, cups, hair ties, and mouthwash ready to go.

The poke I ordered arrived.
Chicken breast poke, salad only with no rice: 11,000 won

For the chicken breast poke, I left out the rice and went salad only. It came with a salad base topped with chicken breast and a variety of toppings.

The bowl was loaded with plenty of vegetables, making it a generous portion overall. With the chicken breast and various vegetables together, it was a light yet clean meal. Drizzling on the sesame soy sauce made it nice and nutty.
Avocado poke with 70% salad and 30% rice: 10,500 won

For the avocado poke, I chose salad 7, rice 3. With fresh vegetables, avocado, and various toppings all piled together, it looked delicious just to look at.

The soft, nutty taste of the avocado paired well with the vegetables and made for a light meal. The crunchy texture of the vegetables combined nicely with the soft avocado, and it was a clean, easy meal to finish.
I also captured the interior vibe and the dishes I ordered at Ola Poke Gangnam on video.

Is Ola Poke Gangnam worth a second visit for poke near Gangnam Station?
I liked that Ola Poke Gangnam lets you choose your base and menu for the poke or salad according to your taste. The menu lineup was varied, and the fresh vegetables and toppings were generously portioned, making it both filling and tasty. The chicken breast poke salad was light and clean, while the avocado poke was soft and nutty.
It was a comfortable meal on a day I wanted something light, and being able to choose the salad-to-rice ratio meant I could tailor it to my taste. I'd say it's a solid spot to visit if you're looking for a clean meal in Gangnam or craving poke or salad for lunch.
