Back at Daepae Maket Busan Daeyeon Branch in Daeyeon-dong

It is no longer sweltering; the weather has turned cool. I went back to this Daeyeon-dong pork belly favorite after just a couple of months~~ Let me write a little about Daepae Maket Busan Daeyeon Branch.

No matter how busy you are, you should not skip a meal, right? I put my work aside and arrived. It was lovely to see the owner again.

Even though many diners had left after finishing their meals, the place soon filled up again with new customers streaming in.

A spacious interior and kids' zone

The interior is spacious and comfortable, making this place perfect for family meals. It is clearly also great for company dinners. I liked that the air-conditioning was done well. The ventilation system was good too, so there was nothing to worry about.

Ordered sliced pork and kimchi stew table spread

The delicious odeng-tang (fish cake soup) came with three fish cakes. I cannot believe this is included as a basic side—such a great value. ^^ The broth is amazing.

There were corn, bracken fern, sundae (Korean blood sausage), and more. The ingredients themselves were so fresh. I piled bean sprouts, dried shredded radish, green onion kimchi, garlic, and peppers onto a large plate—only as much as I could eat. This nice girl went and got them herself. I did not forget the processed meat sausage either. Three cheers for everyone who loves pink sausage~ 💕 You can have it with the perilla-leaf side dish too, just so you know ^^

Freshly sliced pork and chestnut gochujang pork

For reference, they slice the meat fresh as soon as you order. It is prepared right away on the meat slicer, so fresh meat is guaranteed~

Thinly sliced pork prepared right after ordering

Isn't that color incredible? ^^ It already looked appetizing before we even started grilling.

Chestnut gochujang-seasoned sliced pork belly

We also ordered the gochujang-seasoned one, and I fell for it the moment I saw it~~ I am so glad we did not leave it off the order. Haha, aaah..

What a wonderful table spread, right~? The table did not look worn out, so it passes. I really liked that the tableware was not old either. Snap, ssamjang dipping sauce. Snap, salted seafood! How about the grill? Oh! It is sturdy and quite nice.

Now it is grilling time. This hungry writer got started. It looks filling at a glance, right? On one side, the mushrooms and potatoes began to cook~~

Of all the thinly sliced pork I have had so far, I think this was the best tasting.

Ways to make sliced pork belly even tastier

Sprinkle salt into sesame oil. Do not forget this one—try it with the nicely cooked meat! It doubles the nutty flavor.

The shredded green onion and sauce balance the finish of the meat, making it even more flavorful.

This juicy sliced pork, with its juices bursting out, is simply love. It puts a smile on your face.. ^^ If you eat it with green onion kimchi, you really know what you are doing. ❤️ Have the sliced pork belly with pickled radish wraps and you can fully appreciate its charm. The sweet-and-tangy radish freshens your mouth, and it is the best. 😆

Dip it in curry powder for a different flavor. It stops tasting like the meat I knew. A special touch comes through. While you are at it, try it with dried shredded radish too. Sprinkling out tips for a delicious meal..

Curry powder and dried shredded radish accompaniment

The sliced pork was so, so tender. It was neither tough nor dry, just right to chew. There was not even a trace of porky smell, so do not worry.

Sliced pork belly enjoyed in a lettuce wrap

Pork kimchi stew and finishing the meal

I put a piece of meat on lettuce for a change of flavor. The fun of making wraps went through the roof. Please have this Korean soul food too. Pleeease~ It is not pungent or spicy. It has a deep savory flavor, so be sure to add it. I also loved that it had plenty of tofu.

The part I was most looking forward to!!! Its gentle spiciness paired so well with white rice. It is not spicy~~ It practically melts in your mouth~ Friends, honestly, is this not a dish that calls for a drink~?

It went even better with perilla leaves than I expected that my little eyes went wide. Please, 🙏 you have to try this. I ate so well here, and I kept thinking about it even after I got home. If you are craving pork belly near Daeyeon-dong, I highly recommend Daepae Maket Busan Daeyeon Branch.

They even give you ice cream as a service. 🍦 It was cooler and sweeter than expected~ Meal finished~ A perfect meal ❤️ A celebrity has visited this restaurant.
