In short
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant near Misa Station in Hanam, Gyeonggi. I enjoyed beef rib fingers, a generous 1 kg pork platter, and chewy pork skin in its roomy, family-friendly space. Verdict: a great pick for families and groups wanting a big variety of meat.

A great Misa Korean BBQ spot where I got to enjoy everything from beef to pork in one sitting—Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang! Parking was easy, and the restaurant was spacious and pleasant, making it just right for a family gathering! Best of all, there is a playroom, so moms can enjoy a relaxed meal too, haha.
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang near Misa Station: location and information
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is on the third floor of Misa Riverside Obelisk, near Exit 4 of Misa Station. It is open daily from 11:30 to 22:00, and you can park in the Misa Riverside Obelisk building.
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is on the third floor. Get off the elevator, follow the large signs all the way down, and you will find it! The building itself is big and spacious with convenient parking, so this Misa Korean BBQ restaurant is wonderful for families and groups.

A kid-friendly Yes Kids Zone
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is a Yes Kids Zone! Its standout feature is the large playroom. There are so many No Kids Zones these days, but this is the opposite—a Yes Kids Zone—so parents raising children can visit with no pressure. That makes it even better for family gatherings!

Despite the roomy restaurant, I heard it is such a genuinely popular spot that there can even be a wait on weekends. For waiting guests and diners who have finished, there is a coffee area with old-school snacks such as ppungtwigi (puffed grain snacks). I loooove this thoughtful touch~

Even though I visited late on a weekday evening, lots of people were dining! It was busy even on a weekday, so I could really feel how popular Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is. The restaurant has lots of space and wide tables, making it incredibly comfortable and pleasant to use.

Private rooms and a large kids' zone
There are separate private rooms, which are ideal for family gatherings or group get-togethers! If you are visiting with children especially, I think it would be convenient to reserve a room in advance~~
The kids' zone was as spacious as the restaurant itself. It had a slide, trampoline, arcade machines, and more, so the kids looked like they would have a lot of fun. Thanks to the kids' zone, adults can eat comfortably while children have an even better time—truly the best of both worlds at this Misa Korean BBQ restaurant!

Self-serve bar and meat menu
The self-serve corner was neatly set up, and I could see that it was kept clean and replenished throughout. The needed banchan (Korean side dishes) were available there, while any other side dishes could be requested from the staff, who would bring them over—very convenient~

- Stone-plate beef galbi / stone-plate pork galbi / half pork platter
- Whole pork platter / premium assorted beef ribs
- Pork belly / pork neck / pork jowl / pork skirt meat / pork skin
- Beef rib fingers / bone-in ribs / yukhoe (Korean beef tartare)
- Steamed egg / naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) / jjolmyeon (chewy spicy noodles) / yukhoe bibimbap / soybean paste rice soup
Along with good-value meat set menus, they also sell individual cuts at reasonable prices. Many places serve less than 150 g these days, but a serving here is a generous 180 g, so you can eat to your heart's content. The set-menu portions and prices are good value too!

Basic sides and unlimited soybean paste stew
The basic sides arrived, and the table was practically groaning under their weight!! There was grilled fish, japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), jjolmyeon, white kimchi, salad, muksabal (acorn jelly in chilled broth), fresh kimchi salad, pickled garlic leaves, pickled peppers, and more. There were fresh salads to enjoy before the meal as well as all kinds of sides that went beautifully with the meat. Above all, the doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) came with unlimited refills!!!! I loved being able to have plenty of it at Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang~! The stew was rich and seriously delicious.

First round: beef rib fingers
For the first round, beef rib fingers! I ordered them because I wanted some beef, and I loved that the portion was more generous than expected. Beef just has a different look from the start~

The beef was sizzling appetizingly on the grill. Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang's grill runs hot, so the meat cooked quickly and nicely! Meat tastes better when it is seared fast over high heat, and you can keep eating without interruptions, so it got a complete pass from me!!

This was perfectly rich and nutty beef for the first thing off the grill! It was tender with a lovely grain, and I kept saying, “This beef is delicious!” Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang has great-quality beef and pork overall, so do not hesitate to order~~!

A 1 kg pork platter and pork skin
The pork platter was a full 1 kg—one whole kilogram! There was meat all the way down underneath, so the portion was seriously, seriously huge. Four of us thought we would finish it easily, but by the end we were so full that we wondered whether we might leave some behind. It really seems like they give the full 1 KG!!!!!!!
We started with the mild pork neck~ I loved its distinctively nutty, nicely moist, tender texture. Pork neck really shines when you do not overcook it! It had that savory, rich pork flavor and a deep meaty aroma, so it truly felt like eating proper meat.

What is there even to say about pork belly~ It was cooked beautifully over high heat: golden on the outside, moist inside, and full of juices. The deep, savory flavor of the fat made this cut even more delicious.
Shiitake wasabi came with it, and adding a little gave the meat a sharp aroma and extra flavor. The pork belly also went so well with pickled garlic leaves or white kimchi.

The five-layer pork belly, pork jowl, and pork skirt meat all looked great and clearly tasted high quality too. They were nicely rich and tender, and every cut was delicious! I totally recommend the assorted pork platter for trying a generous variety!!!!

I was already incredibly full.... but I wanted pork skin, so I ordered some.... This stuff is truly addictive....

The pork skin had an amazing chewy, nutty texture. It came with both a spicy sauce and an injeolmi (roasted soybean powder rice cake) sauce; dip it half-and-half and it is insanely good~ It is sooo delicious, so definitely try it!

Finishing with naengmyeon
Of course, dessert means naengmyeon~~! A bowl of cold noodles with little floating ice crystals cuts through the richness and makes for the perfect finish. Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang was generous, good value, spacious, and pleasant. With its kids' zone, it is great for visiting with children, and reserving a private room makes it perfect for a family or group gathering too.
