We use a Bugaboo Dragonfly hybrid stroller for our baby, and this time I tried sending it to "Gajang" for stroller laundry for the first time. I'd washed it myself twice before since buying it.
It had been about 6 months since the last wash, so I dropped it off thinking, hmm, it's probably still clean? But when I saw the microscope photos, haha, it turned out to be pretty contaminated in that time. Since it's something the baby rides in every day, I realized I really need to pay more attention and wash it regularly.
Before-and-after comparison under a microscope
Before / after comparison

At Gajang, they show you microscope photos from before and after washing, and wow, the before photo... I was honestly shocked at how dirty it was, haha. With the naked eye you can't really be sure whether something is clean or not, but seeing it magnified like this made me trust that they really wash thoroughly. Clean enough to hold up under a microscope means they're confident in their washing!
From separated washing to packaging, all documented in photos
Separated washing / finished washing photos

They sent photos of the stroller being washed disassembled and of it being packaged after washing was complete, so it was nice being able to see the process with my own eyes without having to visit the shop in person.
The stroller laundry business I used this time, Gajang, contacted me first before the visit which made scheduling easy, and they also got in touch right after pickup was completed, so I could wait without worry.
₩55,000 for a hybrid stroller, sealed packaging
Here's how it looked when delivered after washing was finished...!

They seal it in packaging like this. Since it's a hybrid stroller, the wash cost was ₩55,000. Considering it includes disassembly washing, I think that's a reasonable price. Compared to other businesses, the price was about the same too!
Doing it myself at home would be hard — disassembling it is tricky and drying it is a whole task too, haha. Since they fully dried it before packaging and sending it back, I could use it right away without any worry.

The packaging was so thorough it felt like receiving a brand new stroller. The frame was clean and the seat was fluffy and fresh, which made me feel much more at ease putting the baby in it.

Unscented natural detergent, high-temp steam, and UV sanitizing
The canopy was washed cleanly too, and I felt even more reassured that the detergent seemed unscented. For anything the baby uses, I only use unscented detergent when washing at home too.
Looking into it, they said they only use natural detergents made from ingredients like soap nuts and baking soda, which felt important since this is something that touches the baby's skin directly. With high-temp steam and UV sanitizing done together, I didn't have to worry about germs or dust mites either. Since babies have such sensitive skin, I personally appreciated that they paid extra attention to cleanliness.

The difference I noticed, down to the wheels and storage basket
Before I sent it in for washing I wondered, will there really be much difference...? But once I got it back, I could definitely tell. I really checked every nook and cranny, and it came back like a completely new stroller. So, so clean.

The wheels were spotless of course, and even the storage basket used for holding bags was tidy. These are photos I took the moment I opened it up at home, and below are photos I took again indoors.

Not a speck of dust anywhere, clean in every corner.

It was spotless and the service was so kind that I was completely satisfied — I'm planning to stick with this place and keep coming back for stroller laundry from now on.

Even the wheels were completely clean like this, and they were taped up after washing. Even after long-term use, one stroller wash made it feel brand new again.

How often should you wash a stroller?
Going forward, I think I should get the stroller washed at least once every 6 months. Since it's something the baby rides in, I realized I shouldn't put it off and should manage it regularly instead.
If you're in Bucheon and thinking about stroller or car seat laundry, I'd recommend this place! They were very kind and communicated well, which I really appreciated. Glad to have found a business I can trust with this.
