A glass-fronted brunch café near Apgujeong Rodeo Station

On a bright weekday afternoon, I found an Apgujeong hot spot that gives you that lovely, unhurried feeling of having slipped away to a resort from your busy everyday life—so I rushed over to share it with you 🖤

Sun-filled Apgujeong brunch café interior

Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch is an Apgujeong brunch gem that won me over once with its cozy, comfortable openness, then again with the gorgeous, carefully made brunches and pastas.

The sleek, hip atmosphere was overflowing right from the exterior, so I snapped an aesthetic entrance shot and went in with a fluttering heart 🖤

The moment I stepped inside, the rich scent of freshly brewed coffee, newly baked bread, and fragrant sauces filled the whole place and instantly lifted my mood! More than anything, I was shocked by how many customers there were—whoa. Okay, this really is a hot spot..🤍

Café interior with stylish furniture and lighting

By day, it is a brunch café where you can enjoy sunshine through the full-height windows; by night, it transforms into an atmospheric wine and cocktail lounge bar ☕️🍷 It was fun looking at the interior touches around the café, from the stylish furniture to the lighting 👀 I want to come back in the evening too. I heard there is usually a wait even on weekdays, so I booked on Catchtable the day before! So glad I booked.. I was so hungry.. The booking system is well organized, the place is pretty, and the food is delicious, so it would be great for a wedding-invitation gathering too ✨

Ordered brunch dishes and drinks
  • Iced Americano (₩5,500)
  • Mild Dutch Baby (₩23,000)
  • Jambon pistachio cream pasta (₩24,800)

This is what I ordered 🖤 I was curious about the salad options, especially the bacon wasabi romaine! But I decided to order the Dutch Baby, which is hard to find elsewhere. And the other one simply had to be their signature jambon pistachio cream pasta.

Brunch dishes made with fresh ingredients

They make even their sauces with care using fresh ingredients delivered the same day, so there was no way I could not be excited before the food arrived 🫶🏻

A glass of iced Americano

Jambon pistachio cream pasta and Dutch Baby

The Americano (₩5,500) used nutty, dark-roast beans 🖤 It was an understated iced Americano that paired nicely with the brunch.

Finally, the brunch dishes came out. The visuals were insane.

Jambon pistachio cream pasta

First up, the savory jambon pistachio cream pasta ✨

Cream pasta with jambon and pistachios

Jambon pistachio cream pasta (₩24,800). Delicious jambon, nutty cream, and pistachios—it is a combination that cannot possibly be bad. I tried this signature pasta first, and as soon as I took a bite, I naturally blurted out, “I officially approve of this Apgujeong brunch spot!!!” 🤍

Jambon pasta in thick cream sauce

The thick, deeply nutty cream sauce came topped generously with salty, tender jambon, and the distinctive nuttiness of pistachios and the saltiness of the jambon came together in my mouth like an orchestra 🫶🏻 The cream was not overly rich, but had a subtle, deep flavor, so I scraped up every last spoonful. I almost lost all reason and dignity.

A plate of pistachio cream pasta

The pasta uses paccheri, so it was holding onto loads of that delicious cream! The bouncy paccheri and crunchy pistachios worked beautifully together with the salty jambon and nutty cream sauce.

Next was the Mild Dutch Baby (₩21,000), a Dutch Baby topped with burrata, prosciutto, Greek yogurt, and wild arugula.

Mild Dutch Baby topped with burrata

The Mild Dutch Baby and its iced Americano partner overwhelmed me from the visuals to the flavor. It is a main dessert-meets-brunch dish you absolutely should not miss at Mild High Club: a fluffy yet crisp and chewy, just-baked German-style pancake shell generously piled with fresh, varied ingredients 🤍

Fresh-baked German-style pancake brunch

The sweetness, saltiness, and softness of fresh-baked bread met in a ridiculously well-balanced sweet-and-salty combination! A sip of the clean, structured iced Americano heightened the cream and pancake flavors, bringing it all to a perfect palate-cleansing finish 🖤

Dutch Baby paired with an iced Americano

The Greek yogurt was delicious, and the figs were fresh and very sweet! The burrata was nutty too, and went so well with the jambon 🫶🏻

Brunch enjoyed beneath sunshine through full-height windows

I had a proper healing moment amid Apgujeong’s sunshine and full-height-window atmosphere ✨ If you want neat, unique brunch at a glass-fronted café, or a memorable pasta and Dutch Baby pancake unlike anything you have tried elsewhere, I recommend Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch, an Apgujeong brunch gem 🖤
