The small auditorium where Magician JT's Science Lab was held was really clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to visit with a kid. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you navigate to Daejeon Metropolitan Jeongak Orchestra instead. Even on a weekend outing, we managed to park and get in without much hassle. Walking into the lobby, the signage was set at kids' eye level, and the seating inside the auditorium had a clear, unobstructed view, which I really liked.

Magician JT's Science Lab isn't a sit-still-and-watch kind of performance, so there was never a dull moment. What really stood out was how he kept making eye contact and asking questions to the kids in the audience, calling them up onstage to join the experiments directly. Kids who responded enthusiastically sometimes got a chance to win a fun little prize, which filled the whole venue with excitement. If you want to give your child an active chance to participate, I'd recommend booking front-row seats quickly. Thanks to the live energy happening right in front of us, my child couldn't look away for a second — a really rewarding science experience for kids.

Onstage, Magician JT broke down difficult science concepts to exactly the kids' level, turning them into delightful magic performances. The electrostatic levitation, where objects float in midair, and the chemical reaction effects drew gasps even from me as an adult. Instead of the dry concepts from a textbook, adding flashy visual effects and witty explanations made this an excellent choice for a science experience for elementary kids. Most of all, seeing my child naturally absorb the principles and start asking her own questions made me proud.
