Blind date second round at a Yeongdeungpo izakaya: Nani Byeolgwan

Back again with another atmospheric date-spot find! This time I'm introducing Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch, where my boyfriend and I went to soak up some mood ( ੭ ･ᴗ･ )

Where is Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch, and where do you park?

Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch is an izakaya on the 1st floor of 183 Munnae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. There's no parking at the store itself, but they recommend public parking lots within a 2-minute walk, across the street or behind the building.

Since this is such a hot spot in Yeongdeungpo, be sure to check the business hours carefully before you go! It's really close to Times Square, so it's perfect to swing by after shopping as part of a date course haha

Three themed spaces: which seats work for a blind date?

Once you step inside Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch, you're greeted by three distinct theme spaces. I actually spotted not just couples but plenty of blind-date pairs scattered around.

The sleek exterior already radiates good vibes from the entrance! Step inside and three uniquely styled, pretty spaces unfold 🥺

The soft, cozy lighting makes for a perfect mood, so there were tons of couples on dates like us, and even some folks clearly on blind dates dotted around! From bar seats great for solo drinking to spaces suited for group socializing, the variety made it fun just to look around 🤍

If you want the room on the 2nd floor, reservations are a must! Most parties of 2–3 sat on the 1st floor, while bigger groups headed up to the 2nd. For a cozy, successful date, I'd recommend booking ahead!

Mojito highball, 9,000 won

Pure refreshment! A tangy, sweet mojito aroma sweeps through, clean and easy to drink without feeling heavy 😍 Nothing sets the mood quite like a highball haha. *It's sweeter than you'd expect!

Cucumber salad, 8,000 won

A genius side dish that resets your palate before things get too greasy 🥺 The fresh, salty seasoning soaks right into the cucumber, making it seriously addictive — my hand kept reaching for it 🤍 *Cabbage comes as the default side, but I highly recommend also ordering the cucumber salad — the savory flavor is unbeatable

Pork belly scallion skewers, 15,000 won

Crunchy scallions packed tight inside savory pork belly for great texture! With a whiff of smoky char and a burst of juiciness, it paired amazingly with the highball 👍🏻 A touch spicy, but dipping it in the mayonnaise that came with it worked really well! Totally recommend — this is the number one menu item!!

A Yeongdeungpo Times Square hot spot where you fall for the romantic mood, then fall again for the delicious Japanese-style food — Nani! The space itself is so pretty and well put-together that it's a perfect 100/100 for a date with a partner, a blind date, or even a unique solo-drinking or social spot. If you're looking for a good-atmosphere, good-food date bar in Yeongdeungpo, I highly recommend it!
