Hannam-dong whiskey bar with a standard hookah and pizza: EOD Hannam

We're non-smokers, but the second we start drinking we always want to go to a hookah bar haha. That night we were on round 3 and having so much fun when I remembered EOD Hannam, a new hookah bar I'd been saving for ages, was right nearby — so we made an impromptu visit! Verdict: I left completely satisfied 🥲

Where is EOD Hannam? Location, parking and opening hours

EOD Hannam is on the 3rd floor of 64 Daesagwan-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It's open daily from 19:00 to 02:00, and you can use the nearby parking lots.

EOD Hannam sits on the 3rd floor of this building! Apparently it's the second location from the owner of Day Off Club in Samgakji? It's near Itaewon too, so the location was great.

Just head up these stairs.

Inside EOD Hannam: a dim whiskey bar that works for solo drinking

The inside of EOD Hannam is quiet with dim lighting and honestly the upscale vibe is insane. It wasn't loud or chaotic at all, which I loved.

There were also private, partitioned-off spaces like this! Since it's a hookah bar you end up sitting for a while, so I appreciated the wide tables and super comfortable chairs!

The interior design is really stylish too, so the overall atmosphere is amazing haha.

EOD Hannam also offers bottle keep (free for 2 months), so it'd be great to keep leftover liquor and come back to enjoy it again!

The mood is so dreamy.

EOD Hannam, this Hannam-dong bar, has such a relaxed atmosphere that it seemed perfect for solo drinking at the bar seats too!

It'd be perfect for smoking hookah and quietly sipping a drink alone...! I genuinely want to come back solo.

The menu isn't just hookah — there's whiskey, wine, beer, cognac, cocktails, pizza, tiramisu, ice cream, and even cup noodles for something simple to eat! You can also order delivery food (₩5,000 fee). The glass red wine and the coffee here are genuinely delicious, so make sure to try them.

The chicken-leg-shaped crackers that come out as a default snack, and

the peppermint tea that comes standard! This was genuinely so delicious and refreshing that I told them so, and

they brought us a big glass of it. The owner was so cool and kind too.

One hookah for four at standard strength, with mint added

The four of us ordered one hookah (₩50,000)! I liked that it's divided into levels: BEGINNER / STANDARD / PRO. We went with the regular strength, STANDARD, added mint, and picked TODAY'S BLEND for the flavor! If you're new and not sure what to get, the staff give great recommendations tailored to your taste if you ask haha.

They gave us disposable mouthpieces for each person like this, so multiple people can share one hookah!

Puff puff haha. Even for my non-smoker friend and me, the strength wasn't too intense and was just right! My friend and I have tried hookah a few times before and this place ranked #1... it wasn't a cheap-smelling flavor, more of a subtle, upscale scent.

Drinking while smoking hookah, I genuinely lost track of time haha.

You've got to see an actual smoker's technique... it's definitely different from when I do it haha.

Long Island iced tea, red wine, coffee and pizza at EOD Hannam

First, they hit us with the welcome tea, peppermint tea, right off the bat.

These Long Island fans ordered a Long Island Iced Tea (₩16,000) again, of course.

Long Island fan: Not too sweet, tastes upscale and delicious~

I'm a Hennessy fan, so I ordered Hennessy VSOP (₩14,000) again. The price is affordable and it's so delicious... I love cognac so much.

We ordered a glass of Tarapaca Gran Reserva C/B red wine (₩14,000). It was a Chilean Cabernet, and the glass wine here was genuinely delicious! I was too drunk to take a photo of the wine glass so my friend made one with AI instead haha. Anyway, it's genuinely full-bodied and not too sweet, so definitely try it!

After drinking all day, I was craving an Americano, so I ordered one! Wow, this place is a coffee spot too... the coffee was genuinely rich and fragrant, better than plenty of dedicated coffee shops.

We ordered pizza (₩20,000) as a side dish! It was genuinely light and delicious 🥲 This was round 4 and it was so good we finished it all haha. We also ordered ice cream and yukgaejang cup noodles, but I was too drunk to get photos... oh well, Chagall vibes!

I asked if they happened to have pickles, and they brought us olives as a free service..! I absolutely love olives so I was so happy 🥲

Is EOD Hannam worth a visit? One-line verdict

Looking for a Hannam-dong bar with a great atmosphere? I recommend EOD Hannam, the new hookah bar! The hookah had an upscale scent and came in different strength levels, which I loved, and the quiet, comfortable atmosphere makes it great for friend gatherings, dates, and even solo drinking. Next time I really want to sit alone at the bar seats and drink like a proper grown-up haha.
