I was searching for a good pasta place in the neighborhood when Oneul Pasta Magok Branch caught my eye — a Magok Station favorite. The photos were exactly my style, so I booked through Naver Reservation and went to check it out.

Where is Oneul Pasta Magok Branch, and what is the space like?
Oneul Pasta Magok Branch is on the 2nd floor, Unit 214, of a building at 76 Magokjungang-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Head up to the 2nd floor and you'll find this Magok Station favorite decorated as prettily as a gift.

Open Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 11:00-21:00 / Fri, Sat 11:00-22:00. The interior has soft lighting and chandeliers that set a lovely mood — perfect for a date.

The tables were spaced generously apart, and high chairs were available for little ones.
I'd also recommend this spot for a small company dinner or a wedding invitation gathering in Magok.

Oneul Pasta Magok Branch menu and what the writer ordered
Here's the menu information for this Magok Station favorite, Oneul Pasta Magok Branch.

We ordered the rosé risotto (with 5 added shrimp) for 16,900 won, the cod roe carbonara with a free size-up for 13,900 won, an 8-inch mini honey pizza for 6,000 won, and a cider for 2,000 won.

There was an event going on where you get a honey pizza for leaving a review.

What is on the salad bar at Oneul Pasta Magok Branch?
After ordering, I went to fill a plate at the salad bar. The lettuce was fresh, and there was a nice variety of toppings — croutons, olives, grated cheese — plus dressings like balsamic, yuzu, lemon, and ranch so you could mix to your taste.
Best of all, it was kept clean and neatly maintained, and refills were allowed.

The food came out fast, so almost everything landed on the table at nearly the same time.

Basically all my favorite kinds of food gathered on one table.

Cod roe carbonara with free size-up: portion and taste
I picked the mild version of the cod roe carbonara and got the free size-up. The portion was seriously generous.
The noodles were drizzled with truffle oil, and the nutty, soft cream sauce smell mixed together made the aroma completely intoxicating.

For the rosé risotto, I chose spice level 1 (milder than a Buldak-style spicy ramen) and added 5 cocktail shrimp on top.

Both the pasta and risotto can be customized with added shrimp or bacon depending on your preference.

Here's the 8-inch mini honey pizza. It was the perfect portion for two people to share.
We decided to start with the cod roe carbonara first.
Lifting the pasta noodles, hot steam curled up softly — even looking at the photo again makes me want to eat it all over. I could taste the umami of the cod roe and the smoothness of the cream at the same time.

The generous cream sauce made it even more delicious, I think. In particular, using dairy cream really made a difference in richness and smoothness. Grilled enoki mushrooms on top gave it great texture too. At this Magok Station favorite, there were so many highlights in a single plate that I found myself in awe as I ate.

Rosé risotto at spice level 1 with 5 extra shrimp
Even without a size-up, the rosé risotto's portion was plenty on its own. Because it's a rosé sauce, the balance of cream and tomato was perfectly struck — it was the best.
The way the rice grains broke apart in the mouth had exactly the texture I learned about from instructors at cooking school, which made me think — this really is a proper Magok Station favorite.

I picked spice level 1, and it only gave the faintest hint of heat right at the very end.
More than anything, there were plump, well-grilled shrimp on top — and if they're still this size after grilling, they must have been even bigger raw. They're seared separately and cooked beautifully, so I really recommend adding shrimp as a topping. This is a Magok Station favorite that clearly doesn't skimp on good ingredients.

8-inch mini honey pizza and a second salad bar round
I tried the 8-inch honey pizza almost like a dessert — and the combo of nutty cheese and sweet honey was absolutely the best, no words needed. It's baked on a tortilla base, which made it thin and crispy, and so delicious.

I also refilled my salad once, and topping it with balsamic sauce plus yuzu sauce paired perfectly with the pasta and risotto. Tangy, sweet, and fresh — it was fantastic.
After paying, it also looked like you could print out a photo.

Is Oneul Pasta Magok Branch worth a visit? Final verdict
