Yesterday I had a business meeting in Byeongjeom in the afternoon with our Korea IT Vocational School work. Since the appointment was at 2 pm, I arrived a bit early, and since I was already in Byeongjeom, I figured I'd grab a good lunch with my coworkers before heading in — so we had a lunch gathering. While thinking about what to eat, I heard about a new tasty restaurant that had opened in Byeongjeom, so I went to check it out myself.

Parking was easy, the restaurant was spacious, the owner greeted us kindly, and above all, the food was delicious — this was one of the most satisfying restaurants I've been to. So let's get into the honest review right away!!

Park at the Jinan public parking lot and cross the street — you're right there. Parking is free for 90 minutes, so I parked comfortably and headed in to enjoy a delicious lunch gathering!!

The self-serve corner had fresh banchan (side dishes) and unlimited rice refills all well prepared. The self-serve banchan corner also had plenty of fresh vegetables ready, and every side dish was delicious!

₩12,000 hot-plate pork: a proper rice thief

I love meat, so my order — the hot-plate pork — came out first!! A soul food for Koreans, especially Korean men!! Stir-fried pork meets the hot plate as another dark horse of the Haetan brand! From the visuals to the taste, the hot-plate pork was excellent!! This is a total rice thief!! Perfect for a lunch menu!

Signature hot-plate squid stir-fry with smoky wok flavor

Finally, the Haetan brand's signature menu — the hot-plate squid stir-fry, packed with smoky char flavor from the hot plate!! I tried it too! Smoky flavor is all the trend these days, and adding it to squid made for an even tastier, more special squid stir-fry dish!! Really good!!
