Solo seats and the look of Ola Poke Gangnam
Ola Poke Gangnam is tucked in the back of the building's basement level. There are so many little compartmentalized shops down there that it took me a bit of time to find it, haha.

Inside, there are lots of two-person tables, plus seats set up nicely for solo diners like me. Each seat even had a spot to plug in your phone charger and a phone stand — nice touch.

You order and pay at the kiosk, then they'll call your number. There are so many toppings and menu types — salads, poke, buckwheat noodles, wraps — that the kiosk gives detailed recommended sauces plus nutrition and calorie info for each!

What the self-bar at Ola Poke Gangnam stocks
Water, utensils, tissues, and extra sauces are all at the self-bar — they even had hair ties, mouthwash, and hand sanitizer ready.

Two drink options were on offer: cool lemon water and warm rooibos tea. I ordered and soothed my stomach with warm rooibos while I waited.
What I ordered: salmon poke with an extra scoop of salmon
New menu items include buldak (fire chicken) octopus and buldak salmon, plus a custom poke and custom salad wrap where you build from base toppings without picking a main.

Salmon poke (₩13,500), extra scoop of salmon (₩4,000), Victoria sparkling water (₩2,500). I wanted to eat a ton of salmon, so I added an extra scoop to the salmon poke!! When ordering, you can adjust the rice-to-salad ratio, choose sauces, and add or remove base toppings. Drinks are self-serve from the fridge after you order!
How big is the salmon poke bowl, and how does it taste?

It was weekday lunchtime, so there were quite a few people eating and waiting, but my order came out faster than expected! And the moment I got it, I was startled by how much bigger the portion was than I imagined, haha. The plate itself is huge, and it's completely packed with vegetables, rice, and salmon!!

Usually poke bowls feel light on toppings and overall portion, but here the salmon was so big and plentiful I almost wondered why I even bothered adding extra! I liked that Ola Poke lets you pick both a base dressing and an extra sauce — I went with the recommended choices for both: soy-sauce base for the base dressing and sriracha mayo for the extra sauce. They're generous with the sauce too, so you can adjust it to your taste!

I cleaned my plate completely, then finished up fresh with the mouthwash at the self-bar~~
Why Ola Poke Gangnam is worth it for poke near Gangnam Station

There are so many different poke and salad brands around Gangnam Station and I've tried quite a few, but personally Ola Poke was the most satisfying! Since it's an open kitchen, it felt clean above all, and with such a wide variety of menu items and options to choose from, plus generous, tasty portions, I was completely satisfied!! If you're doing a diet or eating solo near Gangnam Station like me, I recommend Ola Poke!!
