A review of the new menu at Daily Fix, a burger spot near Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station — a burger restaurant I'd recommend.
I had errands near Gwanghwamun today, and Daily Fix, a burger restaurant near Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station, was an easy walk from there. I really loved how the ingredient combos and sauces cut down on the usual burger greasiness and let the clean flavors come through. This place shot up the real-time search rankings after Davichi's Kang Min-kyung mentioned eating here, and even someone like me who's usually put off by burgers came away satisfied — here's my review and some practical info.
Is there parking at Daily Fix Euljiro?

There's a FastFive B1 underground lot in the same building as Daily Fix. At ₩3,000 per 30 minutes, the price isn't too bad. But once you go over 30 minutes, it's charged as a full 60-minute block (30 + 30), so it comes to ₩6,000 — the timing can be a bit awkward. The restaurant covers the first 30 minutes for you, so it's easiest to just plan on eating within an hour and enjoy the meal without worrying about it too much.
Is there a wait at Daily Fix Euljiro?

Whether there's a wait at Daily Fix seems to depend on the time of day. I visited before dinner rush, around 17:00-17:30, and since it was still bright out and a little early for dinner, there was no wait at all.
During the day it's a bright, well-lit spot for a casual meal, but in the evening the lighting shifts to something softer and it turns into more of a place to enjoy a beer — a burger restaurant with that kind of dual concept. (They have Stella on tap!)
By 18:30 on the weekend, the place was fully booked. It's genuinely hard to find something light-yet-filling nearby, since most restaurants in the area are closed on weekends — the ones that are open tend to be pufferfish soup places. It seemed like a lot of people strolling and relaxing along Cheonggyecheon stream were making their way over here.
What is good on the Daily Fix Euljiro menu?

You order via a tablet at each table. Every item has a photo, so you can definitely just go by your own taste, but every restaurant has its own crowd-favorite signature menu, right?
There's the bacon cheese burger that Davichi's Kang Min-kyung specifically called out, and for anyone who says "I love the greasiness," there's a double cheese burger too. I personally like mushrooms in my pizza and burgers, so I ordered the truffle mushroom burger, which is apparently the piping-hot new item this time.
It was a shame that all the shake flavors were sold out — I was curious since I remember loving the ones at Five Guys!! Left with no choice, I debated between onion rings and bacon cheese fries, and went with fries since you can't really skip fries with a burger.
Eating in at Daily Fix Euljiro: how the visit went

I ordered three items total: bacon cheese burger, truffle mushroom burger, and bacon cheese fries. I figured it'd take a while since it's made-to-order burgers, but even with cooking starting only after the order comes in, everything came out in under 10 minutes!

Bacon cheese fries at Daily Fix Euljiro
I tried the bacon cheese fries first. Freshly fried potatoes piled high with melted cheese, then a generous layer of caramelized onions for sweetness, and finally big chunks of bacon — not bacon bits — heaped on for texture and that distinct salty bacon-and-cheese flavor.
The fries themselves seemed to have no seasoning at all, which is probably why the sauce and toppings came through so clearly without it ever feeling like too much. Dipping into the ketchup along the way added an extra layer of savoriness. Personally, I think it would've been even better with some sour cream...?
**If you like spicy, there's a chili cheese fries option too, so pick whichever suits your taste.

Bacon cheese burger at Daily Fix Euljiro
This is both the popular pick and the signature menu item — the bacon cheese burger. At first glance it looked so simple that I wondered if it was just the basic option, but one bite in and I immediately understood why Kang Min-kyung recommended it.
The usual greasiness of a beef patty was noticeably toned down, replaced by a clean flavor and a soft texture that was clean without being dry. The generous bacon and sauce anchored the flavor, but I think the real standout was the onion. Instead of caramelized onion, it was lightly grilled to bring out sweetness while keeping the crunch and that distinct onion aroma — striking a real balance that reined in what could otherwise be an overly rich burger.
**Even as someone who isn't usually into burgers, I really enjoyed this. Highly recommend 😀

New menu item: the truffle mushroom burger
Last up is Daily Fix's new truffle mushroom burger. At first glance it looks like a really light burger, but once cut in half, the truffle aroma comes through much more strongly, and the thin mushroom slices layered beneath the patty added a nice chewiness.
Honestly, the simplest way to put it is: it's just delicious. I think this is a burger restaurant where the combo of ingredients, sauce, and ratios all come together perfectly!! (Turns out I like burgers after all...)
When is the best time to visit Daily Fix Euljiro?
If you're wandering around Cheonggyecheon and Jongno and want to wrap up the day with a simple draft beer and a burger, Daily Fix near Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station is a great pick. It sits right at the start (or end) of Cheonggyecheon stream, so it's easy to park if you're driving, and it's also close to both bus and subway access. A solid recommendation for burgers 📍
