Pocheon restaurant with herb water and shrimp pilaf: Eoneu Dal

A place like this in Pocheon?!

We're a military family living in northern Gyeonggi, so we've been all over hunting for a decent Italian restaurant in Pocheon — pasta spots in Pocheon, good restaurants in Yangju, pasta places in Uijeongbu. Finding a place where you go 'wow, this is nice!' is harder than you'd think... and that's how I found Eoneu Dal, on a friend's recommendation!

Every dish was delicious, but what made me feel good the whole meal was how kind the staff were. We ordered three menu items and not one of them disappointed — here's my honest, detailed review of Eoneu Dal, a great restaurant in Pocheon :)

Where is Eoneu Dal in Pocheon, and what are the hours and parking?

Eoneu Dal is located at 54 Jeongmun-dong-gil, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are Tue–Sat 11:30–21:30 (break time 16:00–17:00), Sun 11:30–21:00.

🚗 Parking: There's a lot in front of the building. It's fairly spacious, so I could park comfortably without worrying about finding a spot.

Inside Eoneu Dal: window seats and group tables

Walking in, my first thought was, 'oh, this would be a great date spot.' Floor-to-ceiling windows and a clean interior! The atmosphere seemed great for both a date and a family meal.

There's also group seating behind the partition. I thought I'd love to bring friends here for a brunch get-together next time. I think everyone would like it 💛

High chairs are placed around the restaurant, and even though we didn't ask, they brought us kids' cutlery plus kitchen scissors. That's the kind of thoughtfulness that makes Eoneu Dal great for family meals in Pocheon! 🤎

Ordering by QR code, plus herb water and fresh-baked bread

Ordering at Eoneu Dal is done by scanning a table QR code with your phone. Honestly... I really wanted the gnocchi, but I ended up ordering whatever the little ones wanted instead (guess I'll have to come back next week and try it haha). Carbonara, mushroom cream pasta, shrimp pilaf — order complete!

Even the water came with a nice touch — infused with herbs.

Once you order, they bring out fresh bread — still warm, like it just came out of the oven.

The bread was tasty too, and the kids ate it up happily :)

How does the mushroom cream pasta taste?

This is the mushroom cream pasta my husband ordered. The cream sauce wasn't too heavy, and the combination of savory mushrooms and cream was great! The sauce had just the right consistency, clinging naturally to the noodles, and every bite had us saying 'this is so good.'

There was a generous amount of mushroom, adding a chewy texture in between the smoothness of the cream sauce. Despite being a cream pasta, it wasn't overly rich, and overall the ingredients felt cleanly balanced 🤎

Carbonara at Eoneu Dal: pop the yolk and mix it through

Personally, Eoneu Dal's carbonara was really delicious to me. What makes it stand out as an Italian restaurant, a pasta spot worth calling a top pick in Pocheon, is that it's not just a carbonara with a heavy cream sauce — there's an egg yolk on top, and when you pop it and mix it with the noodles, the flavor turns even richer and smoother.

It felt like eating an Italian-style carbonara. Rather than a cream pasta that just leaves you feeling greasy, the salty and savory flavors blended nicely, and I enjoyed it to the very last bite. Honestly, this was my personal pick of the meal haha 🤎

Shrimp pilaf, the easiest dish to share with kids

We ordered the shrimp pilaf, loaded with plump shrimp, for our shrimp-loving kid. The shrimp had a nice bouncy texture, so my child ate it right up. Eoneu Dal is also known for its vongole pasta, and apparently they use clams delivered fresh that same day — the shrimp felt just as fresh.

It paired well with the fluffy, well-fried pilaf rice too, making it a great dish to share with kids. 🤎

A great restaurant in Pocheon that our kids ate really well at! Eoneu Dal. The staff were so kind that we had a genuinely enjoyable meal, so I'm leaving this honest review. We went out for a drive and ended up wrapping the day with a satisfying meal :)
