In autumn peak season the visit covered the assorted hoe bibimbap and the half-and-half flounder and mullet mulhoe, both served as a brass-tableware spread with a piece of abalone on the side, and rice, somyeon noodles and broth were all free to refill. Suseong Susan menu and what you can refill for free

Mulhoe, hoe bibimbap, and yellowtail are the mains at Suseong Susan :) Right now was the peak season for mulhoe!!

Suseong Susan's biggest appeal is definitely the freshness that comes from generously using good ingredients. The half-and-half and assorted menus, great for when you can't pick just one fish, are especially popular.

Extra sashimi and extra hantae (squid) were both available, and rice, thin noodles, and broth were all free to refill :)
Eating the assorted hoe bibimbap and flounder-mullet mulhoe

Today's main dishes! Assorted hoe bibimbap and flounder-needlefish mulhoe.

The assorted hoe bibimbap comes generously topped with chewy marbled flounder, great-textured needlefish, and thick, nutty large flounder, each about a third of the bowl.

Mix it up with fresh vegetables and a spicy-sweet sauce, and your mouth fills with a variety of textures and rich flavor.

The half-and-half mulhoe looks amazing too haha. The tangy-sweet, deep broth is topped with a floating layer of ice slush, and generously packed with needlefish and large flounder. Being able to enjoy it cool and clean right down to the last bite was a big plus~~

The nice touch of a piece of abalone included with every table's set — crunchy and so delicious haha.

They mixed the hoe bibimbap for us right away~ and I loved how much vegetable there was :)

The mulhoe came out looking great too — the sashimi and abalone were served separately, so they laid them on top of the vegetables and sauce haha.

They also got the yellow thin noodles (somyeon), which looked so delicious, ready to mix in~~

Sashimi, vegetables, and noodles — this combo was the best~

After eating heartily, mixing in rice at the end too made for the best meal ever! Suseong Susan, the hoe bibimbap spot in Gangseo-gu, Busan, haha.
Is Suseong Susan worth it? Final verdict
The interior of Suseong Susan is kept comfortable and clean, making it a pleasant place to eat. The thoughtful spread served on brass tableware also gives a nice sense of being taken care of. Thanks to the generous portions and the quality of the fresh sashimi, I enjoyed a meal that was both filling and easy on the stomach. If you're looking for a proper mulhoe or hoe bibimbap in the Gangseo-gu area, I definitely recommend stopping by.
