Milyang BBQ restaurant in Samun-dong: 600g set with grilled cheese

We went to the Milyang Festival and were trying to figure out dinner when I heard about a brand-new BBQ spot, so my boyfriend and I checked it out :)

Where is Dotdot Milyang Main Branch, and where do you park?

Dotdot Milyang Main Branch is at 1F 16-17, 10 Mirybeol-jungang-ro 5-gil, Milyang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and it's open daily from 4 PM to midnight. You can't skip a good meal after checking out the festival lol. Especially since we'd come all the way to Milyang — dinner had to be meat! So we went 😃 It was close to the festival grounds so it was easy to find, and we parked at the public parking lot right next door 😃

If you're coming to Milyang for a date and driving, you don't have to stress much about parking 😃

It was around 4 PM and I was surprised there were already customers lol

The interior was clean with a modern vibe, so the second you walk in it just screams new place!! Looked great for family dinners or couple dates.

The 600g raw meat set for two: how much meat and which cuts?

My boyfriend and I ordered the 600g raw meat set. The portion was pretty solid for two people, and I loved getting to try several cuts at once 😍

I used to think all a BBQ place needed was good meat, but Dotdot's salad bar was surprisingly fresh and well stocked, which made me like it even more 😍

Grilled cheese free with a Naver receipt review

Honestly what I liked most was the grilled cheese you can get through the Naver receipt review event!!!!

You really have to try this lol. I thought it'd just be cheese on top of meat, but it went together so well ㅠ I tried to add it as a side but it wasn't on the menu... 💦💦

Anyway, I also got to watch them prep the meat. So fresh... wow

After a short wait, they brought the meat out! You can just tell it's fresh, right??

They even heated up the fermented shrimp sauce (melgeot) and garlic oil sauce on the grill!! asmr

The basic side dishes were great too. The salad was genuinely delicious. And we grilled the event cheese on the pan along with the meat

Eaten with the meat, it gets chewy and savory, and with a little bit of the fermented shrimp sauce on top it was seriously delicious 😄

Pork, melgeot and cheese: the best combination at Dotdot

Out of everything I tried at Dotdot Milyang, meat + fermented shrimp sauce + grilled cheese was my top pick lol. It's a totally different experience from just eating the meat plain, so cheese lovers should definitely try it!!

I usually like dipping my meat in salt or ssamjang, but this time I got hooked on the cheese and melgeot combo and kept eating it that way lol 😃

My boyfriend said melgeot with wasabi was the best combo for him lol. Not just for people looking for pork belly or ogyeopsal, but also for anyone who likes specialty cuts — the raw meat set lets you try a bunch of different parts at once, which is great if you want to sample a little of everything 💚

Since it was a day trip we didn't order drinks, but the vibe was good for having a drink with your meat in the evening too, so it'd suit anyone looking for a Milyang bar who also wants meat with their drinks! We spent the whole day exploring the festival and finished with BBQ for dinner — felt like we really made the most of the day ❤️

But most of all, I really want to emphasize the cheese lol. If you can get it through a Naver receipt review, definitely grill it together with the meat and try it!

A dinner stop after the Milyang Festival or Yeongnamnu Pavilion
