Milyang pork BBQ with myeoljorim anchovy dip: Dotdot 600g special
In short
Dotdot Milyang Main Branch (돗돗 밀양본점) is a Jeju-style flame-grilled pork restaurant right in front of Samun-dong Children's Park in Milyang, Gyeongnam. The meal started with the Dotdot Special 600g combo at 48,000 won, then added 3 more servings of fresh pork jowl, pork skirt and five-layer pork belly, plus myeoljorim (Jeju anchovy braise) with tofu, green onion kimchi, wild greens barley rice and tiger bean doenjang stew. The wait was 10–15 minutes and setup takes a while, but the Dotdot Special combo came out clearly cheaper than ordering each cut on its own.

Went to a new pork BBQ restaurant in Samun-dong, Milyang — Dotdot Milyang Main Branch, a Jeju-style charcoal-grilled pork specialist ✨
Hours: 16:00 - 24:00
There was one group ahead of us, so we waited about 10-15 minutes to get into this hot new Milyang BBQ spot, Dotdot
Dotdot Milyang Main Branch menu and side dishes
The menu posted on the wall has quite a variety of cuts — pork belly, hanging tender, kkodeulsal (chewy neck cartilage meat), ttukkeopdegi (thick skin cut), gochujang-marinated beef brisket, and more 👀

Basic side dishes include cabbage and 3 kinds of kimchi, plus salt, wasabi, and salted seafood to pair with the meat, and the grill plate is set right away. The kimchi comes in three types — olive kimchi, green onion kimchi, and napa cabbage kimchi — and the cabbage has dried anchovies on top, which was an unusual touch 👀 Since they set the whole table up like this, even when seats are empty, it takes a while to get seated and set up!
What comes in the Dotdot Special 600g combo for 48,000 won
You order via tablet, and our first order was the Dotdot Special (₩48,000). Think of it as a combo platter — 600g for ₩48,000, which is way cheaper than ordering everything separately 👀
Look at that pink pork color -✨ Looks so good 🐷

We ordered it and found out it's Sold out! Not because they're out of meat — seems like the Dotdot Special can only be ordered once per table.
Good grains — domestic rice and barley — and rich, fatty meat at Dotdot Milyang Main Branch, a Milyang BBQ spot. You can also get a highball or grilled cheese through the review event, so everyone should join in!
Dipping grilled pork in Jeju-style myeoljorim anchovy braise
My partner working hard as usual 💛 Lining the meat up in a row on the grill -! Hope it cooks fast 🐣
While the meat was grilling, they brought out tofu-added myeoljorim (anchovy sauce), salted shrimp, and garlic sesame oil.
Picked up a well-cooked piece first — since it's Jeju-style pork BBQ, dipped it in the myeoljorim, yum -🐷 Compared to other anchovy sauces, this one had a much stronger fish flavor (to me it tasted like galchi jjigae, cutlassfish stew) — Dotdot's rich, deep myeoljorim

Ate the lightly cooked hanging tender too
Can't skip the soju, right 👀 Cheers -!

Green onion kimchi at Dotdot that wasn't sour
A lot of places serve kimchi that's already fermented and sour, but Dotdot Milyang Main Branch's green onion kimchi tasted freshly made — not sour at all, so even I, who doesn't usually eat sour kimchi, enjoyed it 👀 Pork with green onion kimchi is such a good combo -!
A shot full of meat that makes me happy just looking at it

My partner piling meat up like a mountain on my little plate ..✨ Eat some too, babe 🐷 He was too busy grilling but still dipped it in myeoljorim and fed me bites with green onion kimchi

Prices for extra cuts of pork at Dotdot
Can't resist ordering more meat -! Fresh pork jowl 120g (₩12,000), fresh hanging tender 120g (₩9,000), fresh pork belly 120g (₩9,000) — added 3 more servings 🐷
Glossy domestic Korean pork

Soju kept flowing too -!

Wild greens barley rice and tiger bean doenjang stew
There were quite a lot of meal options too, like kimchi mari guksu (cold noodles in kimchi broth), but we went full Korean-food-lover mode and ordered wild greens barley rice with yak-gochujang (₩6,000) and tiger bean doenjang stew (₩5,000)
The barley rice with yak-gochujang (₩6,000) came out quickly — Dotdot's unusual menu item. Unlike other places that use bean sprouts and spinach, this wild greens barley rice had gungchae (aster greens), dried wild greens, and bracken fern

Mixed it all up and took a bite -!
The tiger bean doenjang stew came out while we were eating. It was salty, and I was going to order a bowl of rice to make sulbap (rice mixed into stew as a drinking side dish) if I hadn't been full, but I was too stuffed ..!

Is Dotdot Milyang Main Branch worth it?
Finished off strong with meat piled on bibimbap at Dotdot Milyang Main Branch, a Milyang BBQ spot. It's newly opened so the place is clean, and the location right in front of Samun-dong Children's Park makes it easy to find 👀 Had a great meal 🙇🏻♀️
