Uijeongbu Station BBQ parking and jjagyechi hangover: Supsok Oki Jip
In short
Supsok Oki Jip is a two-floor Korean BBQ and grill restaurant a two-minute walk from Uijeongbu Station in Gyeonggi. This visit brought emperor nukgansal (rib finger meat), the gopchang (beef tripe) hot pot and curry set, and jjagyechi (ramyeon-noodle jjajang with egg and cheese) made with green onion kimchi to shake off the previous night's drinking, with parking sorted at the Gwangjang Tower lot next door and two nearby public lots. Baby chairs and seating for up to 40 make Supsok Oki Jip easy for both family meals and work dinners.

The BBQ restaurant I genuinely love in Uijeongbu! Supsok Oki Jip is already well known to anyone in the know here. It's only a 2-minute walk from Uijeongbu Station, so accessibility is top-notch. And you know the food alley behind Uijeongbu Station, right — perfect for a first round, second round... all the way to a fifth round without moving far.

Where to park at Supsok Oki Jip? Gwangjang Tower is the answer
Supsok Oki Jip doesn't have its own parking lot, but there's a Gwangjang Tower parking lot right next to the restaurant, so driving here shouldn't be a big problem. There are also two more public parking lots nearby, so parking worries — no thanks!

Inside Supsok Oki Jip: as green as the name suggests
True to its name (Supsok Oki Jip means "Oki's house in the forest"), the restaurant is surrounded by so much greenery that every time I come I feel like I'm walking into a forest (a little exaggeration there, haha) — it really has its own distinct vibe.

The restaurant is split into 1st and 2nd floors! I always end up eating on the 1st floor whenever I come, haha — it basically feels like my fixed seat.

Oh! If you look under the table, the menu and cups are all ready to go, just so you know!
One of the biggest reasons I love Oki is that there isn't a single unimpressive item on the menu — even the basic soup that comes out is so good I always scrape the bowl clean.

Is the ₩10,000 tripe hot pot and curry set worth adding?
At Supsok Oki Jip, you can add the gwangchang (beef tripe) stew + curry set for just ₩10,000 more! Total ₩10,000 happiness 💚 The tripe stew alone runs well over ₩20,000 these days, so getting it as a set for ₩10,000 is an absolute steal. If you skip it, you'll genuinely regret it 100%.
I mean it — skipping the curry is a real loss; it's spicy and so good. You have to order extra rice to go with it.
Ugh, writing this is making me crave it again and my mouth is watering, hahaha. The set isn't optional — it's mandatory.

What we ordered this time at Supsok Oki Jip
- Emperor short rib x2
- Tripe + curry set
- Rice x1
- Jjagyechi
- Cola x2
Order complete!

Last time I came with S-nee we had the short rib and diced beef short rib stew, and honestly everything was delicious. But this time Hyeona wanted short rib, so we ordered emperor short rib! (The garlic seasoning on top is the real kicker.)

Jjagyechi with green onion kimchi: the hangover cure that worked
This jjagyechi (spicy chicken-and-offal stew) is something I couldn't finish last time because I was too full, so this time I was determined to have it. I came prepared, having braced myself since the night before, haha.
Ah, I genuinely love the owner, T_T. Who would think to put green onion kimchi right inside the stew? (The egg is also fully hard-boiled, exactly my style.)
It feels like all of yesterday's drinking got cured right then and there — it's so spicy that it genuinely flushed out all the alcohol from last night. It's also loaded with onion and tripe, so you get a satisfying bite too 🧡

I was so absorbed in eating, haha. Hyeona kept saying it was delicious the whole time as she inhaled it — I think she said "this is so good" at least six times, hahaha.
Dip it into the special sauce and it just melts in your mouth.

Cleaned the plate like a pro. Hyeona said she ate so well and that a trusted big-eater's pick never disappoints, hahaha. Next time we're going for the diced beef short rib for sure ❤️ And I'm still regretting not being able to eat the raw beef tartare because we were too full — definitely having it next time.

Does Supsok Oki Jip work for family meals and work dinners?
Supsok Oki Jip has baby chairs ready, so it seems great for family dinners too! There's always a reason behind an Nth visit. My friends already know it — say "the place in the forest" and they immediately go, "oh, Oki?" haha. Next time let's bring our Ppoya along too 💜 And next time I come with my boyfriend, we'll definitely mix up some somaek (soju and beer). Ah, once his business trip is over, let's meet at Oki, haha.

Since it can fit up to 40 people, it seems great for company dinners too! A company dinner is the perfect chance to eat a lot of good food without holding back, haha. Go for it!
