Lately, I’ve really been going out to eat lots of delicious things.. haha. I’ve been craving meat pretty often, so this time I went over to Samsong for some. I had something to do near Starfield, and while looking for a nearby dinner spot, I ended up visiting this place.

What we ordered that day was Sancheong black pork fresh ribs and samgyeopsal (pork belly)! We wanted to try both, so we ordered one serving of each, and in the end I was really glad we did.

When you only have one kind of meat, you keep eating the same flavor, but having two kinds together made it fun to switch things up along the way. The Sancheong black pork fresh ribs especially had me curious from the name alone.

Rather than eating meat just one way, I’m the type who likes making ssam (wrapped bites) and trying it with all sorts of sides. Pork belly is definitely fun because of all the different combinations.
