Honest tasting notes (black sesame latte, egg tart, corn salt bread) & takeout haul

While picking up dessert gifts for my professors and some bread for my husband, I tried the black sesame latte, egg tart, and corn salt bread in the café.

Black sesame latte

This signature drink comes topped with a thick layer of nutty, smooth black sesame cream. When you drink it without stirring, letting the cream and coffee mix together, the nutty black sesame flavor and the bitter espresso balance perfectly.

Egg tart

A textbook example of crispy-outside, pudding-soft-inside. There's no eggy smell at all, just a pleasant sweetness and nuttiness filling your mouth. Even just looking at the cross-section, you can tell the filling is packed in. It was really soft ~

Corn salt bread

Chewy salt bread dough packed with nutty corn kernels, bacon, and cream, making for a great bite. It's the perfect sweet-and-salty combination.

Eating in the café, the fillings were so generous and the portions so big that my friend and I split the corn salt bread and egg tart and were still full enough to leave some behind. Along with the leftovers, I packed pollack roe salt bread and a Lotus milk roll for my husband to take home — and every packed item tasted just as amazing once we got home.
