We finally had a proper night out on a weekend evening, haha! The place we went was QooQoo Chuncheon Branch!

Why QooQoo Chuncheon Branch works on a weekend evening with a baby

It was a weekend evening, so QooQoo Chuncheon Branch was really packed..! Seems like a lot of families come out to eat together on weekends. We came with our 16-month-old too, and there were more baby-friendly touches than I expected, so we ate happily and left satisfied :)

First off, a baby chair — essential when you're going to a buffet with a baby — was of course available! But best of all was that there's a playroom, haha.

What a 16-month-old ate: yogurt, fruit and gomtang rice

After we sat down and looked around, there were way more kinds of food than I expected~ Lots of different salads too.

There was yogurt too, so we started our baby off with that — she ate it so well, haha.

We didn't give the 16-month-old sushi or rolls, and instead picked things she could actually eat, haha. There was also chicken, kkwabaegi-style pork (kkwabaro), grilled shrimp, and all kinds of fried food.

With fruit, rice, and warm dishes, there were more options than expected, so we never felt stuck for what to feed the baby at a buffet^^

QooQoo isn't just sushi — there were so many warm dishes too~ And having rice was such a plus! We mixed some rice into gomtang (beef bone soup) for the baby, and she ate it so well, haha. Sometimes it's hard to get even one spoonful of rice into her at home, but that day the buffet atmosphere must have gotten her excited, because she really dug in, haha.

What the adults ate: sushi, rolls, salmon jang and shrimp jang

Once the baby was taken care of, we started eating properly ourselves, haha. There were so many kinds of sushi and rolls! There were so many varieties that just doing one lap around took quite a while, haha.

And one of the dishes I was most happy about that day was salmon jang + shrimp jang! Is it even real that QooQoo has salmon jang and shrimp jang, haha?

I really love this kind of dish, so seeing it there made me so happy — I ate my fill of it ❤️

Eating dishes that suit your own taste alongside the sushi, instead of just eating sushi nonstop, made it even better~

We also ate grilled shrimp and warm dishes now and then, and with all the different fried foods, there was fun in picking and choosing^^

Desserts and drinks: marble ice cream, patbingsu, waffles, chocolate fountain

And of course, at QooQoo you have to go all the way to dessert, haha.

Beyond soda, there were juice, coffee, and slushies too, so it was nice to pick out a drink after the meal!

There were also so many kinds of ice cream~ Almost like Baskin Robbins in variety, so as someone who loves ice cream, I was already happy 🤣

The shaved ice was yum too.

But even more surprising, they had marble ice cream too, haha. Seeing marble ice cream there got me weirdly excited, and I tried it — delicious as expected, haha. There was also soft serve, and you could make your own patbingsu (shaved ice) and waffles^^

There was a good variety of cake and bread too, and quite a few kinds of fruit ready. We picked fruit our baby could eat — banana, kiwi, orange — and gave her a little of each; she loves fruit so much she ate it all up well, haha. Feeding the baby, then eating ourselves, then finishing with dessert — by the end I really felt like I was about to burst, haha.

There was even a chocolate fountain, so I bet kids would love it, haha. At this point, isn't this basically coming for a meal and getting the full dessert course too? 😂

Is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch worth it for a family gathering?

The biggest worry when you go to a buffet with a baby is 'what do I feed my kid?' — but with options like yogurt, fruit, rice, and gomtang, our 16-month-old actually had plenty to eat~

It was crowded since it was a weekend evening, but with that many kinds of food, it was fun picking whatever we felt like eating~ I'd recommend QooQoo Chuncheon Branch for a Chuncheon family gathering! From sushi to salmon jang, shrimp jang, grilled dishes, and fried food, all the way to ice cream, marble ice cream, waffles, and patbingsu at the end, haha — it really felt like a proper buffet experience after a long time^^ If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Chuncheon, QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is the best, >.<
