Suwon brunch café with high chairs and baby food warming: Orange Bagel

Today we went with the kids for a weekday brunch at Orange Bagel, a hot bagel spot in Suwon!

From the size of the place to the taste of the bagels, everything exceeded expectations, so I wanted to give you an honest, thorough review ✨

The red-brick exterior and the wide parking lot

True to its name, Orange Bagel has a warm orange-brick exterior that catches your eye from a distance 🧱✨

It's a great vibe and easy to get to if you're looking for a café on the outskirts of Seoul too. Best of all, the store is huge and the parking lot is roomy, so it was really convenient to visit by car 🚘

How many bagel flavors does Orange Bagel have?

The moment you walk in, the smell of toasty bread greets you along with an enormous variety of bagels 🥯🔥

There really are so many kinds!!

The jambon-beurre and salmon bagels, which work well as a meal, looked really tempting too!

If you buy 4 or more, they can be packed into a nice gift box, which looked perfect for gifts too 🎁

First-floor goods zone and the little Halloween photo spot

On one side of the first floor there are cute little goods on display, decorated adorably for the upcoming Halloween theme 🎃 Every corner has that Instagram feel, so you get a great shot wherever you point the camera 📸

If you're looking for places to visit in Gyeonggi-do, I totally recommend this café full of pretty photo zones!

Second floor with a baby: wooden high chairs and baby food warming

The second floor of Orange Bagel is a spacious, quiet spot that's good for sitting with kids. We went up there with our kids since it's a bit calmer and more relaxed.

The whole hall is huge and roomy, as befits a large café, so we didn't feel self-conscious visiting with kids — it was comfortable 🤍

The café has wooden high chairs well stocked, so the babies could sit safely and comfortably 👶 And I asked if they could warm up some baby food, and they gladly did!!! 🥹

For moms with babies, whether or not there's a high chair really matters, so this thoughtful detail was touching!

The sunlit indoor terrace, with its checkerboard floor and American flag accents, felt like eating a bagel in New York 🇺🇸🗽 haha

Going up to the third-floor rooftop

We popped up to the third-floor rooftop to take a look, and it was perfect for sipping coffee in the cool breeze ☁️

On a nice day, this would be pure healing!

By the way, the restrooms in the building were kept very clean and tidy, which made them easy to use 🧼

The four bagels we ordered, plus iced Americano

Our order came out ✨ For drinks, we went with four iced Americanos across the board!

I have to say, this is a certified good coffee shop in Suwon ☕️ The beans are nutty and clean, and they pair really well with the sweet-and-salty bagels! (You can choose nutty or acidic beans) 🤎🤎🤎 Now let me introduce the bagels we ate one by one 😋

Laugen butter bagel (6,900 won)

The first thing we tried was the Laugen butter bagel!

This was the one I was personally most excited for, and it exceeded expectations 🤎 Salty salt flecks are dotted over the sweet sugar coating, giving your whole mouth a textbook sweet-and-salty hit.

The bread itself is moist and chewy, and the buttery flavor spreads more and more with each bite, keeping it light and enjoyable! If you like the distinctive deep flavor of Laugen, you have to try this!

Scallion cream bacon bagel (8,500 won)

The scallion cream bacon bagel — need I say more, it's a total flavor combo win 🔥

Sometimes cream cheese is so dry it doesn't mesh with the bread, but the cream cheese here was really soft and moist, which I loved.

The crisp bite of scallion, the salty bacon, and the soft cream cheese all come together — you just keep eating without getting tired of it!

Deep choco bagel (6,900 won)

It looks plain on the outside, but the deep choco bagel has a twist inside!

Rich chocolate is tucked in little pockets throughout the chewy dough, so it's sweet in just the right amount — not overly so!

Take a sip of the cool, bitter iced Americano and it's the perfect combo ✨

Corn bagel (6,900 won)

I picked this one purely because I was captivated by how it looked 🌽

It's topped with a nutty, sweet crumble and corn kernels, and the little pops of corn texture in every bite are amazing!

The nutty-sweet flavor is so appealing that I think even little kids would really love it 👍
