Suwon bagel café housewarming gift box: 5 flavors, Orange Bagel

I had a housewarming to go to, and while trying to figure out what to bring — something that would go well with coffee but still felt a bit special — I ended up at Orange Bagel.

There are a lot of bagel specialty shops these days, but Orange Bagel has a surprisingly wide variety, so it was fun picking flavors. Not gonna lie, this isn't my first visit haha — it's the pride of Suwon!!

Especially since they have a lot of loaded-topping bagels rather than just plain ones, I thought it'd make a great housewarming gift.

Where Orange Bagel is in Suwon, and where to park

Orange Bagel is on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi. It's a good option not just for people looking for Suwon cafés but also easily accessible from Bongdam in Hwaseong, so it's worth a stop as a nearby café.

This time my goal was more about picking up bagels to go rather than lingering at the café. The exterior was so clean-looking that I snapped a photo before even going in :)

And above all, the huge parking lot! This is a spot you basically have to drive to, so it's great for family café outings too. Big. Plus.

What the inside of Orange Bagel looks like

Once inside, it's got a full brunch café vibe! The space itself is decorated so nicely that it would be a shame to just take your bagels to go without having a coffee here too. So if you're looking for a Suwon brunch café or a café near Seoul, this one's worth a visit.

That day I picked out five flavors in total.

A potato-bacon bagel, a scallion cream cheese bagel, one topped with corn, a bagel loaded with seasoning, and the Laugen bagel!

Picking one of each made every one look completely different, which turned out great for a gift. Everyone usually brings cake or dessert to a housewarming, so bringing a box of assorted bagels instead is a solid recommendation!

Once packed and lined up together, it looked really pretty. My combo that day leaned more savory and nutty than sweet-dessert style, so it worked well as a brunch spread. And every bagel had generous toppings, so each one really stood on its own.

How did the bagel gift box go over at the housewarming?

Cutting to the chase — it was a total hit haha (proud moment)

After the housewarming meal, we sliced up each bagel and shared them, and since every one was different, it naturally turned into a "what's this one?" "let's try this too!" kind of moment where everyone ended up tasting a bit of each.

Especially when there's a group, I'd recommend grabbing a variety instead of buying multiples of one flavor. It let everyone pick a bagel to their taste and made it easy to share small portions too.

Personally, I loved the chewy bagel texture, but what I liked most was the variety of topping combos. They go great with coffee, and they'd also work well as a quick brunch meal. From savory-salty ones like the scallion cream cheese to more familiar flavors like corn, there was something for everyone without feeling like too much.

Plain but savory, somewhere between a bagel and a pretzel. As someone who loves both, this one was perfect for me.

Looking for good coffee in Suwon?

Orange Bagel felt like a place better enjoyed by staying for coffee rather than just grabbing bagels to go. If you want to have brunch and coffee in a pretty space, it's worth a stop as part of a Suwon brunch café course.

If you've got a housewarming or gathering coming up like I did, try boxing up a mix of flavors. I went with bagels instead of cake, and the reaction was way better than expected — I already want to bring another bagel box to the next get-together :)

If you're looking for a café in Suwon's Daepyeong area, something close to Bongdam in Hwaseong, or just a good spot to check out in Gyeonggi, Orange Bagel is worth keeping in mind. With so much variety, this Suwon brunch café was fun both to pick from and to eat :)
