Hi, this is Nyuna 💙 Anmok Beach in Gangneung is where my husband and I first met, so it holds special meaning for me. We ended up taking a sudden trip to Gangneung, and the one thing I couldn't compromise on was the ocean view from the room. Let me review Your Anmok, the Gangneung stay with all the emotional charm, where we could really soak in the Anmok Beach oceanview.

Rooms, parking and prices at the Anmok branch

Your Anmok is split into an Anmok branch and a Jumunjin branch, and I visited the Anmok branch. Your Anmok pension has rooms on 🚗 the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors, and 🚗 check-in is at 3pm, check-out at 11am. Outside of peak season, you can stay for around ₩100,000s, so the price is quite reasonable too. For parking, you can use the building's parking lot, the lot in front of Anmok Beach, or the lot in front of Jogaerang Daegerang.

Can you leave your luggage before check-in?

One thing that's a relief for anyone visiting Your Anmok by public transport is that luggage storage is available before check-in — if you want to leave your bags, just head to the 3rd-floor management office. (Shoutout to my fellow car-free travelers!) If you book ahead, the owner explains the process in detail, so there's nothing to worry about. ⭐ The room I stayed in was Room 402 ⭐

Can you see this view? The moment you open the door, your eyes get pulled straight to the floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea. Looking out at the blue Anmok Beach and the blue ocean, I understood exactly why this Gangneung oceanview stay had taken over social media. (Yes, that's a very dated way of putting it, I know haha.)

What the floor-to-ceiling ocean view in Room 402 is really like

Room 402 at Your Anmok wasn't a space packed with flashy decor — it felt more like everything was clean and harmoniously put together, with a strong emotional atmosphere. In the morning you get a calm sea, and in the evening a relaxed ocean scene, and I kept finding myself just staring out the window as if hypnotized.

Exploring a lot during a trip is great, but just sitting or lying on the bed and staring at the sea like this became a special memory in itself. Since the view was so good this trip, we ended up spending a lot of time in the room, and it was seriously healing 🌊

Cooking in the room and the Zaigle grill rules

They've got the basic appliances ready for a simple meal, but using a frying pan in the room is not allowed.

• The Jjiggle grill can be used in every room except Room 502
• Max usage time is 2 hours, and it must be returned by 9pm
• If you plan to use it, let the management office know at check-in

How late can you use the ocean-view bathtub spa?

The spa at Your Anmok is usable until 10pm. This bathtub really stands out too — a lot of reviews say 'Your Anmok? That's the tub!' Soaking in a tub while traveling is already nice, but having the ocean as your view too? So romantic 🥹 📍(Bath bombs are fine to use, except ones with glitter or dark colors, apparently.)

The bathroom was also spotless, and with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of spare towels provided, there wasn't much I needed to pack myself.

This right here is a great photo zone. I got a ton of Instagram-worthy shots without even trying, thanks to the vibe this oceanview stay just gives off naturally 📸

Walking Anmok Beach and reaching the coffee street

Step outside and you can walk along Anmok Beach, and Gangneung's café street is close by too, so getting around was really convenient.
