If you ask me for a café near Unjeong, Paju, just outside Seoul, with that certain good vibe, one place always comes to mind first! I'd already been once and had such a great memory of it that I went back — Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch. It's great for a date, but it's also perfect for stopping by alone to get some laptop work done while looking out at the forest view.
Where is Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch, and is there parking?
Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is on the 1st floor of 20 Wasukhoean-ro 192beon-gil, Paju, Gyeonggi, right in the center of Unjeong. There are 3–4 parking spots set up in front of the store.
The neighborhood itself isn't complicated and sits right in central Unjeong, so even first-timers can find it easily.
🅿️ Luckily, when I went on a weekday afternoon there were plenty of open spots, so parking was no trouble at all haha. Even if the front lot is full, there are always cars parked around the nearby public parking lot or the quiet street along the park, so no need to worry.
This is the entrance to Pound Coffee, the Unjeong café. If you look closely at the front, there's a sign that says 'dog water fountain.' They set up a little water station so passing dogs can get a drink — so sweet.. ♥︎
Inside Pound Coffee Unjeong: roomy seats with a forest view
The interior of Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch has high ceilings and generously spaced tables, giving the whole place a really comfortable feel. There's a park right in front of the café, so when you sit inside and look out the window, you get a full view of the lush forest and park!
There was a mix of people — those quietly enjoying their coffee, couples on dates, and people who'd dropped by for a casual chat.
Maybe because it's known for good coffee, there were also people who just grabbed takeout or dropped in quickly for coffee alone haha.
Coffee menu at Pound Coffee Unjeong and how to order
At Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch, you order and prepay at the counter. Among the coffee menu items, there's also a Paju Jangdan bean cream latte.
I agonized until the very end over the Paju Jangdan bean cream latte.. but it was such a hot day that I craved something cool and clean instead, so I switched to bright-acidity beans and ordered an iced Americano haha.
Baked goods worth the trip in Paju
And this Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is just as famous for its baked goods as it is for coffee! One bite of a financier and you truly can't stop at just one. The gift sets are also well put together, so it's a great spot for a simple dessert gift too.

I ordered these two, and they were so good I ended up savoring them slowly haha.
The salty caramel financier is the kind of thing pretty much everyone would like — sweet and salty, so delicious. And the matcha one had a deep matcha aroma plus a soboro (streusel-like) texture that kept me thinking about it.. 💚🤎 I packed one home for my husband — you should definitely try it too.
No need to even say it about the Pound Coffee Americano — this place is genuinely known for good coffee, so I'd recommend the filter coffee here too haha.
Is Pound Coffee Unjeong good for laptop work in Paju?
Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch has seats around a wide shared table in the middle, which was great for laptop work. I happened to have some work to get through on my laptop, which is why I stopped by, and I ended up staying comfortably for about an hour or two.
It's honestly such an incredible view spot...haha. Blue sky + lush green park view + delicious coffee — a perfect 100-point combination of happiness 🫶🏼
It's a place that's just as good for spending time alone like I did as it is for an unhurried tea time with friends.
