Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is a café right in front of Unjeong Health Park Ecological Forest in Paju. I wanted to enjoy an Unjeong café at a relaxed pace on a weekday, so I went for some solo café time here. You can picnic in the park and get your caffeine fix all in one trip. Both the lattes and the desserts are delicious :) I'm the type who goes around hunting for good coffee in Paju cafés, and I'm officially certifying Pound Coffee's latte as a real find.

Since it's in a commercial-residential building, parking space is on the tight side. But there is a dedicated lot, so if the timing's right you can park right in front of the café.

The inside of this Unjeong café is roomier than expected, with high ceilings and a full glass wall letting in plenty of light — great for a relaxed café hangout.

Near the windows there are lots of 2-person tables, and in the center there are tables that can seat a group. Outside is the health park, so the view is all green — just sitting there is healing.

You order coffee at the counter inside, and the music playlist was great and the coffee smell was great too — my expectations went up.

Coffee menu and choosing your beans at Pound Coffee

Pound Coffee is an Unjeong café known for good coffee — espresso, Americano, latte, and even Paju jangdan bean coffee! I heard every single coffee here is delicious!

There were 3 kinds of beans to choose from, with different levels of acidity and heaviness — the staff explained them kindly, so it was easy to pick!

Financier prices and the full order

The financiers at Pound Coffee are around ₩3,500. They're set up in a showcase so it's easy to pick — salt choco financier, matcha soboro financier, and more, plain and dense desserts that go perfectly with a latte!! Good for a light snack, and they also do box packaging, so it's a good Unjeong café for both giving and receiving gifts :)

This Unjeong café, Pound Coffee, has a modern vibe! Even on a weekday there were quite a lot of people, and delivery orders kept coming in too~

They brought the iced latte and three financiers I ordered right to my table, and they let me know to stir the latte well before drinking.

They also gave me a cue card with the bean characteristics written on it

How do the salt choco financier and iced latte taste?

The must-order item at Pound Coffee is the salt choco financier. Dense, sweet-and-salty, and it paired really well with the iced latte. Each financier has its own character, making them great dessert options to pair with coffee~ Perfect for people who aren't into overly sweet things! Though the plain financier is nice too.

I packed the matcha soboro financier and vanilla macadamia financier to eat while working, and they were delicious even eaten plain. So good that I'll have to bring them as gifts for friends next time haha

The iced latte was also rich and heavy — anyone who likes lattes will be very satisfied :) Looking at the photo, the latte art was gorgeous too, so next time I'm going to get a hot latte~

Is Pound Coffee Unjeong good for working alone?

Solo time soaking in the warm afternoon sun~ a good Unjeong café for listening to music, working, and resting.

Now that the weather's getting cooler, it's great for outdoor activities, so taking your coffee and financier to go for a picnic sounds nice too~ Get some sunlight, catch some breeze~ hope you all enjoy the fall♡
