Gangnam restaurant with cinnamon-stirred butter highball: Brivit

Yesterday, after work, I had dinner in Gangnam for the first time in a while. Looking for somewhere with good food and a good vibe after clocking out, I ended up at Brivit Gangnam Station. If you're near Gangnam Station and craving pasta or gnocchi, I think this place is worth introducing.

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station, and what are the hours and parking?

Brivit Gangnam is on the 1st floor of 31 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's open Mon–Sun 11:30–21:15, with last order at 20:30.

No parking on-site ❌️ so please use a nearby public lot! I'd recommend Yeoksam Culture Park Public Parking Lot No. 2 :)

Brivit Gangnam sits in an alley near Gangnam Station :) The clean exterior caught my eye even while walking by, and the place was easy to find 🥰 I stopped in for a relaxed dinner after work.

The Hawaii-like interior at Brivit Gangnam Station

Walking inside, the atmosphere was really nice 🫶🏻 It had an overall resort feel, almost like being in Hawaii! The slightly exotic mood kept me in a good mood the whole meal. Feeling like I'd taken a quick trip right in the middle of Gangnam made it even better haha.

The interior was comfortable and cozy, the kind of place you want to linger in. Water was easy to get and phone charging was available :) Paper cups and napkins were generously stocked too — I liked these thoughtful little details 🥰

What is the Yorkshire pudding pre-meal bread like?

The menu I ordered that day: ✔️ green onion cream corn gnocchi, salmon steak pasta, signature butter highball, and Yorkshire pudding. First up, the pre-meal bread — Yorkshire pudding — is a British bread pudding :) It's made with egg, milk, flour, and similar ingredients.

At first, because of the name, I thought it was a dessert haha. Apparently in the UK it's famously served alongside roast beef. If you're trying it for the first time, the unusual texture and flavor make it a fun experience :)

How does the salmon steak pasta taste?

Next, I ordered the salmon steak pasta. With the salmon piled on top, it looked pretty appetizing from the start 👍🏻

The pasta itself was good, but the salmon was really the star ❤️ It was so soft that it went perfectly with the pasta 👍🏻 Personally, out of everything I ordered that day, the salmon was the dish I remember most.

What does the green onion cream corn gnocchi taste like?

Next up, the green onion cream corn gnocchi! The creamy sauce combined with the sweet corn made it easy and smooth to eat :)

The gnocchi's chewy texture paired well with the cream sauce, and the subtle scent of green onion cut through the richness a little.

Lastly, the signature butter highball! Totally my style 😍 It felt a bit different from the highballs I usually drink, so I was curious and ordered it. It had a subtle buttery flavor along with a gentle highball aroma, and it went really well with the pasta 👍🏻

They told me to stir it well with the cinnamon stick 😆 Once stirred, the subtle cinnamon scent along with the nutty, smooth butter flavor came through even more, and I enjoyed drinking it :)

Brivit Gangnam Station for an after-work dinner near Gangnam Station: the verdict

Visiting Brivit Gangnam after work, I was satisfied all around, from the food to the atmosphere 👍🏻 The salmon in the salmon steak pasta was especially memorable, and the corn gnocchi was also a unique and tasty dish :) The butter highball, stirred myself with a cinnamon stick, was delicious too, and thanks to the Hawaii-like exotic atmosphere, I spent an enjoyable time throughout the meal :)

If you're looking to enjoy pasta or gnocchi in a place with a good atmosphere near Gangnam Station, I think it's worth a visit. The green onion cream corn gnocchi in particular had a great combination of cream sauce, corn, and gnocchi that I personally enjoyed 👍🏻 If you want a delicious pasta meal after work near Gangnam Station, or want to eat somewhere with a great atmosphere, it's worth checking out ❤️ Next time I visit, I'd like to try some of the other menu items too!
